They know the numbers that are to be changed, just waiting for dcas final approval. It is in fact 10 that were submitted for change. the list will be released 3rd wk of October. They expect a little over 500 to be on list, the wait is coming to an end.

How the hell the list will have over 500 names when there are 265 names between 65-69(highest probability to make the list)
dont count military and religious people, i am sure not many of them passed

Because he's blinded with hatred towards the "elite 128" so in his fantasy an additional 370 will make the list and "leapfrog" all the 128. Himself included.

Gentlemen, good morning. I am new and don't frequent this site much but lately, due to the final countdown, I have been reading several posts to see what questions may be thrown out.  I read 1,6,45,54,78, 106....and possibly 115?  has anyone else heard of 115 being tossed out.  That, along with 78 would put me at 70. Other than that, I'm at 69.   Any feedback on 115 please??

There is no solid Intel on any specific questions, just wait.

All i could tell you, about 30+ military/religious people made the list in 2011 test. Someone dropped stats here back in april. That was 17% i believe. Also someone wrote here as well that about 80 of them took this test

I think there was approx 89 that took the make up I examine. My spidey senses tell me a majority of them passed.

Keep in mind most questions won't just be thrown out, they will be double or rarely triples

So 30+ made the 2011 list, but the majority of 89 passed this test?

Most of the makeup examiners passed. I don't have number but it added a sizeable number all I got. And yes I agree most of these 10 will be doubles n triples.

There were more military makeups this time around then last. Almost double the amount From last.  I would say that's gonna add around 60 names.

Probably. If all the rumor numbers are true, the original 128 plus majority of the makeup guys passing puts us at about 200. Then if the 65-69 number of 265 is true, and the 10 throwouts is true, this list will be close to 500. Seems like it all makes sense.

I took the test and you could discuss that inbasket for 6 months and it wouldn't matter.

If throwouts yes. If doubles/triples then no.

I dont see that many military/religious passed this test. No matter how many of them took it. Compared to 2011 this was a HARD test. So, if few of them passed 2011 then fewer passed this debacle.

Ok, so is the number 10 guaranteed? Or is that the number of changes submitted to DCAS and they have to approve it?

How could you think that no one knows about the total amount of changes by now?

This is the TVB's 5th week taking a look at the test!

Yeah I'm confused as well. Seemed like it was confirmed 10 changes. Then it's 10 changes being submitted to dcas for approval. If that's the case I imagine less than 10 will make it passed dcas. Can anyone clarify?  10 changes....odds are my 67 makes it. If 10 are going to dcas I'm wayyyyy less confident.

Guy no one is going to guarantee and re-assure anything if everyone is hearing 10 changes and that the tvb is concluding then. Just be happy that there is hope and stop questioning people who are just trying to help us out.

I an absolutely not questioning people at all.  I love the inside info.  I am curious about the process and how things work.  My question was if the 10 is a firm number, or if it's just a number that NYPD submits to DCAS for final approval.

KEEP THE INSIDE INFO COMING!!!

I thought The TVB is comprised of 1 Lt from the dept, 1 Lt from the union and 1 DCAS rep.

If this TVB agreed to 10 changes, I imagine they are submitting the findings of their review to DCAS, NOT submitting their findings for approval. There's a big difference.

Future #1,

I strongly believe it's the way I had just mentioned it.

The representative for DCAS should be doing just that, REPRESENTING DCAS aka THEIR INTERESTS!

I think people here misread sh*t and/or are excited and are overthinking things.

From what I am aware of.. The Panel submits the changes and DCAS always goes along with it. This is coming from people on previous panels. So unless anything has changed.. If the panel has submitted 10 changes I would say its safe to go with 10 changes it is.

Two LTs on the panel submit their findings but DCAS has a final say on what to approve. Just like I said before, both LTs on the TVB wanted operations orders to be thrown out but dcas rejected that recommendation. Also majority of the protests were not submitted with proper supporting documents, hence 75% of submitted protests were not even reviewed. Even then initially 15-17 questions were submitted for the changes but only 9-10 will hold .Forgive me for being vague but we shall find out very soon about the changes.
