It's been a year since they announced this test. Reflecting back on all the studying most of us did, would you study for another exam? Even though I passed I don't think I will study for Captain. I would definitely not study again for Lt. If I failed. I just don't think its worth the time to have a less than 5% chance of passing. Any thoughts?
I also passed this test, but if I had failed I'm not sure if I would find the drive to study again. Also, I am not planning on taking the Captain's test, although the money is good, I don't believe it is a fair trade for the amount of headache the rank comes with.
I don't know about another test. If it's going to be like this, which I'm guessing most captain tests are, I'm not sure. If I'm going to give half a year to study eight hours every day I have to pass it, I'm not taking it just to see what happens. I don't know if I can deal with making that type of sacrifice only to be let down and fail an insane test by one point.
Give me odds that I'll get my 2 points? Guesses anyone..
sorry man...but its a pointless question. I know a few who got 67...68...69 on last exam in 2011. They didnt make it! but someone got a 61 nad makes it. The odds are in your favor, best answer anyone can give you is that you are in the game and your def a player. What you do have working for you is that it seems NUMEROUS if not MANY ppl got the same questions wrong. So that means more protests for the same questions you got wrong which increases your odds!

I would say 68 has very good chance, but really it comes down to which questions you got wrong. 106, 7, 45 etc.. those seem to be protested alot and with very good reason.
So far we know of 10-12 questions that were protested. Not all of them will be counted in, some will be kept as correct answer choices. Lets say 6-8 will be thrown out/doubles etc. With this amount the list wont increase to 400-500 names its just simply not enough throwouts.

I think if 5 questions become double, triple, or thrown out, coupled with makeup exam takers, it will get the list to around 350 give or take. There seems to be a lot of 66 to 70 scorers that would end up getting in.
while i agree with the footman---there is still gonna be about 6 or 7 minimum. one because of the flaws in the stems of the questions itself and two this list is gonna be at least 450. you gotta think that the percentage of 65-69 people are in that 4-5 range--but that would mean they would have to get EVERY double/triple/toss. the laws of probability are sliced in HALF when there are 5 or 6. that coupled with seeing this exam and the grammar errors there is very good reason to believe that there will be more. btw---i like my coffee black and a chicken "pahm" hero when the list comes out. 96times,sgt2be,and ShredMajors i think we need to create a Ris Star forums smoker because I d like to punch you all directly in the face as well. not because of your comments---just because ur fools.
Guys, pm each other your numbers, and duke it out on the parking lot. I will be the referee.
Ondeeair, you stated earlier that 265 people scored between 65-70. With the laws of probability that will give us another 130 names +128 and i say 40(and i am being very generous) of hasids and heroes.. still less than 300 by few numbers.
When i protested 2011 test, i put 15 questions on paper. Thats how flawed that exam was. I knew people that protested even more. Not the same case here
No way would I take another exam. Tired of being screwed, tired of seeing everyone get screwed, the stories of people not seeing their families, their kids, all to be screwed by a few *******s on this job who couldn't manage a French fry line at McDonald's
