well this is all good that Lt s are being brought in to go over questions for future exams and see what the issue at hand is. The word I got is the TVB will most likely convene in Sept and this list will be released in October--period. They are pushing for it. They will not be cutting this old list however there are about 10-15 holdups who simply might get passed over. They are in the process of seeing if these people can be promoted. Some are jammed, LODI, etc. Those letters went out months ago to those concerned. As far as from what my boy says in the puzzle palace is there will not be another exam before 2 yrs---so the 2016 rumor is completely bunk. not going to happen. he is completely saying the list will be between 400-500 and not any less--they simply cant afford to give another exam and they need the numbers. this new NCO program is the priority of the dept and they are not spending a dime for another exam----comes down to beans N bullets. all makeups have been completed except for someone who is overseas deployed they take the exam 3 months upon their return---that could be in a yr or 2. some guys evidently go on military leave for YEARS--2-3-4--they must return right before their 5th yr. with that being said----he expects a sizable list and the TVB to go over this exam with a fine tooth comb---so that was good to hear. oh--and questions not protested do not get analyzed. just FYI

It would have been nice if the panel would have look at the entire test as opposed to only the contested ones. The questions in the inbasket and every other question that had three questions in one should be thrown out.
Ohh good. Ondeeair is here again. Now have a seat and wait for the list. The list will be whatever it will be. Whether that's 128 or 400, noone knows, including your source.

gotta love the typical mysterious NYPD "they". I have yet to find out who "they" are, although they are always refered to when someone is making something up.
I appreciate your info and effort a lot of it has been good. But bro nobody can say what the list is going to be. They can't just throw out questions. That's illegal. I don't know how much time you have one, but there's been short list before. If it's short it's short and they'll give another test. Your talking about a job that gave 3 Sgts test in about a 4/5 year span.
I appreciate all efforts on here, I really do or else I wouldn't check this board. But reading this thread just cost me 2 minutes on the toilet which I coulda used for Words with Friends, social media, or a game of checkers.
