81 sat for makeups. no, i dont know the passers. but 81 military & sabbath observers did take exam. im gonna say 50-60 pass. yes thats over the usual but this test was widely known because of the debauchery. so, the 128--which in fact is confirmed---and say 50-60 pass---still only round 180-200. not gonna happen. i know all have their theories and think there will be another exam next winter 2016. but, guess what---wont happen. this list is gonna be 400-500. will i make it? who knows. personally at this point---dont care. but there are 231 people between 65-69. yes--that is a fact too. im saying between 5-8 doubles/throw outs. is that a fact--no. but i do know my buddy who works there says the city could care less about the quality of people getting promoted--they need to fill slots. period. and with the NCO program going citywide---it is a known fact there is not a friggin DIME of money in the NYPD budget to have another exam next year. FACT. and yes it costs a couple of million to run an exam--FACT. 400-500. its happened before and it ll happen again---i spoke with my buddy yest and the 81 are done. so in 7 weeks--not 6---TVB convenes. they expect the 2011 exam to be done by sept. this list will be promoting in november.
problem is that history will show that there has in fact been an exam with low amount of passers...that sgts test...so with that being said, a 300 person list is not out of the question and HAS happened before. You can say what you want about this test and the last, they are two different beasts! 2011 had many opinion based questions which could go either way, this test was straight from the book with throwouts being hard to come by except for the ones pointed out on here. Do they stretch it by throwing out ops orders?? who knows, but i wouldnt hold my breath.
that is where you are wrong. the majority of the double/triple/throw outs were PG questions. do your research. the judgement questions held up my friend. the PG questions did not. the same with this exam. time will tell. but 5-8 is a LOW guesstemation for this horrible exam. time will tell.
my sentiments exactly bigfoot. a lot will pass---it was all over this debacle. still only close to 200. wont happen that way---watch. i ve already gotten the word that will never happen and they want a list. quality---they could care less.

2011 Lt thread was way more liberal when it came to answers and yet around 20% passed. And that exam was easier than last one.
well, in the 2011 exam, the sabbath observers took the test the following day. they did not have too much time to scour the P.G. or talk to others. military people took it weeks later.

the makeup exam proposed will be out in 3 weeks--and then they have 2 weeks to protest. then TVB convenes. same exam--different order. I'm calling 50/60 pass. 81 took. around 200 list before tvb. 2011 had 241 going into tvb. good luck
Gamblor isn't gonna have a format for this it's all out guesses. but whatever the case there was 81. worst case scenario say 81 pass of course this isn't reality but that's still only like 209. in 2011 they had 241 pass and the job and dcas s**t. history plays into this more then spreadsheets. being the current state of morale u honestly think the job wants to give another exam next year? that's silly. they ll come out with a list 400-500
and a friend of mine in the boro in queens confirmed the bounced guy in PBQS is an exam makeup guy and he's a crime sgt now in one of the PBQS precincts. he took the makeup and is enjoying the beach evidently. supposed to be a real ball bag. typical and disturbing.
