 It does not.

When the contract comes to an end...
Base will be 165. With holiday/uniform/longevity you're in the mid 180s just for coming to work. Midnite shoeflys, irt captains, impact xo's (basically anyone with full night diff) will break 200.

Yes but don't see it happening

By the way, a bill was passed providing a deputy chief pension for Captains with 15 years in rank.

New York State:
15 Year Deputy Chief Pension Bill: The CEA Bill to expand on existing legislation and grant a pension based upon Deputy Chief pay for Captains in rank for 15 years or longer has been passed both the Senate and Assembly and received a Home Rule message from the City Council. New York Assembly Bill #A07648 is co-sponsored by Assemblymen Phil Goldfeder and Peter Abbate. Senate Bill #S05610 is sponsored by Senator Martin Golden.

City Council Speaker Mark-Viverito granted the CEA request for a Home-Rule vote and Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz Committee approved the measure for vote by the entire Council who voted 51 0 in favor of our Bill. On June 12, 2015, the Bill was passed by the NYS Senate and earlier this afternoon the Bill was passed by the NYS Assembly.

The Bill must now go to the Governor for his signature before becoming law. This process can take many months and I will keep you updated on its progress.

Anyone have an idea what the difference on average would be from a full bird's pension to a deputy chief? I'm just curious how much the extra five years would net someone.

What was interesting about the bill is they make reference to Inspector benefits just not an Inspector's pension.

Don't know what Inspector's benefits entail.

Anyone knows if this is legit? Does anyone has a pay schedule that includes longevity?

When I went to the SBA info session on the SBA contract, they said that the SBA was the only union to settle for the pattern who was going to get a longevity raise. We apparently negotiated it by agreeing not to file the FLSA lawsuit again(to file grievances instead). So the CEA longevity should remain what it was. I think $8745 at 20 years. the other unions were trying to get back to the table so that may have changed.
