When the list comes out, we can look the names up and see the date they got promoted to Sergeant. Most people will have enough time in rank because it has been so long since the last exam. As far as credits, I don't think there is any way to tell.
Time in rank won't be much of a factor. By the time the list comes out, it will be 6-8 months from test day. So only a handful of people will be passed over for a short time
Only guys and girls who started studying as a cop and got promoted during the study period and somehow managed to conquer this debacle will not have enough time in rank and even then it will only be a few.
As far as credits I personally know some guys who passed and don't have the credits, they need to enroll in some cheesy internet college immediately. Some are on this board, so if you read this man, get on it and stop trolling me.
1 day in rank to take test, two yrs to be eligible for promotion. 96 credits i believe. U can check dept intranet somewhere and it tells u how many credits u got
