I agree to an extent, but to think that Lts recruited to this panel wont be influenced by higher ups doesnt sound believable. All it takes is word to get to them such as: "if its anywhere close look to make it a double or triple answer or throwout"
Okay...and once again...I'm telling you from experience...THAT DOESNT HAPPEN
Hey stiggityone. with your knowledge and experience I am curious to know what you mean by "that does not happen"?
Do you feel the validation board will throw out a certain a amount of question to make a sizable list OR do you believe the validation board will ONLY throw out questions which were successful protested? Thanks in advance
He's trying to say that only valid protests on a question stand a chance of being tossed and that outside gimmicks and politics have nothing to do with what gets tossed or not. Nobody sets a "throw out quota" so to speak. They panel evaluates each protest and makes a decision based on the merits of the protest and NOTHING ELSE.
Soccerpsyco: thanks for clearing that up.. With that being, said I would have to agree a comment from wisecop, who wrote:

The days of the list drastically ballooning due to protests are over. In the past the schools were responsible for the majority of successful protest, therefore even though there will be throwouts/doubles it will not be as significant as the forecast.
I just got 7 from Tavares....that answer doesn't make sense...someone please explain to me how they got this answer..it 100% should be a throw out because the answer isn't wrong...

I put A for number 7 and got it wrong. Everyone keeps saying it should be A but I cant remember what the question was about.
