Sorry had a retard moment. I meant to say I chose A and wanted to know what B was. I want to mail in a protest for this question. Or at least help someone protest it for us, if I can't mail it in due to me going in person on Thursday. Not sure of the rules. Thanks.

I went in person and I am protesting 10 and 89 by mail. I don't think that we are not allowed to protest by mail just because we went in person.

as for choice d for question 35 the word they changed means the same thing as the wording in the guide. If you you are going to change the word you should make sure it means something different. As for choice b it is just incorrecT. That is not the only actor. 100% throw out

Reading back on people's comments:

1B (double) Nikki said she redid it and went back to B

10 (throwout)

54B (double)

78 (throwout)

97 (throwout)

106 (should be slam dunk throwout)

I would just need any 3 here

7, 35, 89, 115, possible doubles or throw outs..... its 79 not 78 ....78 was cims, and if by some luck of the heavens the grammar 118 would be a double

I also protested this one.  That phrase is synonymous with the patrol guide words regarding choice D.

I would need 10, 54, 61, and 78. Sitting at a 66. Spent to much time to give up now.

78 (cims) should be tossed as well, they locked you in a wrong procedure.

As long as people are not discussing questions and keep this chatter limited to the number of question it should not be an issue. The purpose is to give little hope to the people who are in mid 60s.

Hope? This is not a religious forum.  The scammers build rapport by posting information that seems reliable to gain credibility and increase posts number.  The result is that individuals that seek comfort get lured in by the scammers like a pedophile would attract a child.  DON'T FALL FOR IT... stop the Bull****....

How would you get a point from some scammer taking the test weeks from now?  I don't get it.  For those who wish to protest over the mail I got a simple solution.  PM each other meet @ a starbucks and discuss it over some Chai lattes.  Make sure you verify that you all have taken the exam, and if you catch a scammer report them to the authorities lol

You have zero chance in question 78 being chucked in my opinion.   Why?  Because none of the other answers were as good or better.  We need to keep that in mind.

there will be close to 10 thowouts/doubles. why??? because there were 19 when 241 passed the exam last time. they needed a big list just as they do now. the city does not care what the questions were---they say--we need 661---we need 450---etc. period. their making a list of at least 400 so it doesnt matter if a question is "borderline" or not "better then", if its close. its gone. now with 128??????? lol. its the LOWEST Lt passing rate EVER. fact. im out of the fight, but many are in it. thats why 65 and over dont have hope--they have a good shot. just hope those questions you had the double/or the q they throw out.

and btw----6 is could not have factually happened as per the comm log and the ops oder for PETS. so we can go back and forth all we want about question 1,5,59,61,45,54----it does not MATTER. there will be close to 10, u heard it here first. they need at least 400 to keep in pace with retirements and promotions. period.

59---wrong. 61----wrong. right out of the CCRG. dont kill yourselves. some of u are picking up points. some of you actually answered better then the 128 who passed. so trust me when all is said and done this list will be the same as last, they cant have 128 pass a promotional exam

I agree. They will throw out questions to make a decent sized list.
Not to mention some of the questions were incorrectly written.

yeah---i know people tell me to shut it. but the one thing my buddy did say yest was their making a list. and no one cares that the test sucked. no one. they tell dcas that we need xyz and the stat guys ther say---ok---question a will elevate us this much. ok not enough---question b gives us this much. ask around. its not a secret. 400-500. period. i wish i was on it. im not. and my SAB packet is going in and f me because i heard the backup is unreal

59 was A.  I consider myself a CCRG expert and I guarantee that one stands.  I won't say why on here but it is locked in.  The question just sucked because it came from a very difficult and obscure point in a guide nobody reads. It's OK though, others will get thrown out.

so if what you say is true.... and less people passed than the 2011 and there were 241 people that passed with 19 throw outs....where are you getting close to 10 for this test? it would have to be close or around 19 doubles/throwouts or even more if we are going by statistics in regards to this test to even get up to that amount needed.

true? or no?

The ccrg questions were basically word for word examples from the ccrg. The only way to try to get rid of them is fighting the fact that ccrg was not listed on the NOE.

I disagree with some of you.  I really don't think there is a stat guy or a group of men in a room (this isn't Albany) that are ensuring a certain number passers.  That would be pure corruption and a lot of people would have to be in on it.  Also, history shows us that a test can be given every year if it needs to be.  Somehow give me a rational reason why there was a Sgt exam four years in a row from 06-09 if you believe that a city official/entity will stop at no means to create a large list like they apparently must do for this LT test.  I'm sorry but that theory is ridiculous.  Does no one else see this?  Was there not just a couple of captains tests and another one will be coming soon.

I do believe they can make a 400 list but not by this stat guy manipulating questions. If they really want to make a bigger list they will just entertain legitimate throwouts from in basket where the majority of people got wrong or just toss the ops orders and CCRG questions.
