can i just remind everyone

Weve been down this road before with lists so small. Look at the history, small list for 2011 lt test and it turned out a respectable list of 660. Captain test, same deal! so history is on your side ppl with 60's. Can the job say lt test every 2 years? sure, but why now?? reengineering? i cant see it and i dont buy into it. I have no sources on this info., but some of you to think youre out of it already when history is on your side, come on???!!! anything can happen, a 128 list with another test in 2016....or maybe even YOU passing with a larger list created. It only takes one valid arguement....will it come from YOU???

Sgt2be: good point I see where you are coming. I do not know much about any captains exams and was not eligible for the 2011 LT exam, but the reason I feel the 2011 LT exam turned out to be a list of over 660 was because of the overwhelming amount of judgment questions. Not to mention, historically, class instructors were able to attend the protest. I would consider those instructors professional protestors. I read the following in a previous post by nycop80:

the official breakdown of the 2011 exam: (there were not 19 throw outs)

3 throwouts
3 triple answers
14 double answers

Again i did not take the 2011 LT exam but my assumption is that many of those double/triple answers came from the judgment questions.. Many of which might have successful protested by class instructors.

wishful thinking: With this new LT contract, I hope many LTs run to the pension section looking to retire before our list is generated. This way the dept and dcas feel to make a bigger list.
