well im out---dead in the water just missing it. so close--but didnt make it. i asked my buddy and he is sticking to what their saying--they want an exam NEXT YEAR. there will NOT be many throwouts and double answers. they purposely made it a point to tell these c**k bags (INsano,Ernie,etc) to make these protest proof when they were writing it. yes--we should all go. fight what we can. maybe some will get lucky---but they stacked this exam unlike the 2011 exam. and yes--128 passed for the 100th time. that is not a rumor--my buddy and half of OMAP has that information straight from DCAS. the uppers wanna go with the top who passes the exam---(doesnt mean I think they re the top this is what they say)---and give exams more frequently. this is what their telling OMAP. no i dont agree with it--this is what they think. and yes---they f'd you out of money and time away from your family. they f'd your career progression and drive--and you know what---they DONT care. 20 and go. trust me im not staying a day later(this was case way before this exam), but this should be the case for many here now. congrats to all that passed!!!

and im sure some pretty GOOD guys passed this exam, not taking anything away from some of you, but i would bet money a good portion of those who passed are people that we do NOT want leading this department... i mean, who passes a test like that ? what kind of people was the job looking for???? theyre missing out on the guys who should be considered the "upper echelon" of this department... not just someone who can memorize an obscure procedure and spit it back out on test day. what about the "cops cop" type bosses, the street guys who know the job and supervise just as well, and the ppl who actually know wtf theyre doing, and the competent bosses that everyone respects and looks up to and WANTS to work for, and the workers who get the job done, etc.... those are the guys who should be moving up the ranks....cant wait to lay a towel on the sand in Miami someday and forget all abt this sh**....
F*ck Ernie and everyone else who has anything to do with this abortion. Can't and won't sacrifice anymore. Extremely angry right now. I killed the in basket questions on every practice exam I took only to get 14 wrong. F*ck this.

Bro I didn't believe you at first,....but my female friend was on the r-team and she told me the same thing when I got back To my command. Maybe it was a suggestion that the job took serious? Who knows,...yes we all know the r-team has nothing to do with DCAS but the above info seems legit,...not sure about sacrificing myself 6-7-8 months for another trivial exam

Dude OMAP has NOTHING to do with the promotional process - NOTHING. OMAP got splintered when Bratton came in and is basically irrelevant now anyway. DCAS deals with one unit in the NYPD and that is Testing and Research. DCAS informsUS on when there should be another exam - not the other way around. I have written 3 exams in the past and this job does not tell the exam writers what and what not to test on. They (the job) does not want to know anything about what the test is on for integrity reasons. I don't know why you keep posting this nonsense and people keep believing it.
Ondeeair was posting a few weeks back about how his buddy said they werr gonna throw questions out to make a list of 500 people... We will just see when the list comes out
