don't know about sabbath guys but the military guys are scheduled for 7/18. FACT. and confirmed. and I won't look st the few I know who scammed the same. they did it for sgt too---and to me it's an integrity issue. but, way it is

And I don't know if it's a Long Island thing but PBQS has the most military makeups followed by PBBN. the amount in PBQS is actually nauseating it's like certain units run a promotion mill. so in ofher words its safe to say theres a ton of sgts in PBQS that have limited integrity. I saw list other day.
What a joke!!! Not only do these cheaters get extra study time, but it's after the protest session for the rest of us. So between this message board and people talking in commands they will know the correct answers to these crazy ass questions!
I was explaining this to friends and family and they were absolutely shocked by this. It defies common sense.

This job is defying common sense these days. and we know who our "make up" guy was, I don't think people were too happy with the captain America call out on April 18th, but what can you do. the son of Xavier has spoken.
I dunno about you guys but next exam I will be Jewish and the job cannot tell me fvcking otherwise. This is the biggest injustice and disadvantage I've ever seen.
Honestly it's borderline corruption. No reason why the Sabbath observers and any available military guys haven't taken it yet. It's been almost a month.
I don't think we should ever talk about the test on this forum...... There are scammers who take it after months and some a year after the actual exam...... If we need to clarify something or get something out of our chest, it should be done with the friends or colleagues who have taken the exam on the sane date with us.....
If you are a legit sabbath observer then you can't fault them. If you only observe the sabbath on NYPD promotional exam days then you are a cheater and someone else said it could be "borderline corruption." You may be right. The test should be given on a weekday to prevent this BS.

Something is wrong with the system if people scrafice 6-8 months of their lives to advance their careers while others find illegitimate means to circumvent the scraficies. Are these the people the job wants as leaders?
I dont blame the scammrs. If I was military or another religion I would do the same. When it comes down to getting a promotion with a higher pay scale do what you have to do. If I could i would do the same for myself and family. The job has no problem getting over on you so why should we have a problem. Lets stop with the its not fair attitude. I studied my ass off to and I don't feel cheated by these scammers. If you don't scam the job one way or another than your a kool drinker. My 10 years on the job a kool aide drinker gets you fired jammed up hurt overworked and under appreciated. O

I gotcha... but since the job does allow legit sabbath observers to have Saturday off regularly, doesn't make sense to give the test on Saturday.
I get the fact we are taking the exams in schools so a weekday is not an option, but why can't they give everyone the test on Sunday? Does anyone know the real reason to why we can't take it on a Sunday?

I agree, it's similar to how I think gravity knife collars are complete BS, but I would never blame one of my cops for making one, that's the law. The legislators need to fix it, the cop is just getting a collar.
The problem isn't the scammers, we would all do the same, the problem is the Department and city lets it happen. Like Bigfoot said, why can't the test be on Sunday? Wouldn't stop the military scam, but at least it would stop the Sabbath scam.
With proper planning, DCAS and the department could easily set test dates during the week if they used summer dates, spring break weeks, or teachers conference dates.
If they did that, the only people getting alternate dates would be legitimate military guys and people out sick/LOD
if there is one thing to get together and protest is the integrity of how these make up exams are giving.
I'm surprised the fashion on how these make up exams are giving have not been changed.
