inequality= lawsuit. No highlighters for some schools but others were able to use it

studies show that highlighters help in scoring better in certain tests thatn people that don't use it . Many schoops were not able to use highlighters.  In my schoil they allowed it . We can fight that as well

Wouldn't be the first time they had to promote the whole list. Wasn't there an incident with the 2006 sgts exam where people were allowed to leave and then some people returned and changed answers. Something like that happenws I belive and they promoted a whole list of POs to Sgts. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think a lawsuit is the answer as it will only prolong the list and then the job still wins by killing it before everyone at the end gets promoted. I'm just saying I remeber a whole list getting promoted because of a DCAS error.

Absolutely it's unfair. I asked people yesterday why they wouldn't allow highlighters and hey looked at me like I had 2 heads. Because they were allowed to use them and I wasn't

Inbasket would have been a lot easier with a red pen and a highlighter.

Not true about the 2006 Sgt's exam. It was the first exam to enact the 70 or better passing score. Roughly the list was around 600 or so. Read some of the post from the 2011 Lt test and the end of the 2006 Lt. You will see the same topics of conversations were had. Ultimately this list will come out and life goes on. Not much can be done other than protesting poorly written questions with flawed fact patterns or ommissions. Good luck.

I think you always get variance in what is and isn't allowed at these testing sites in each individual classroom.

Remember who we are dealing with. DCAS, city employees, who for one day can tell the po-leece what to do and how to do it. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if you walked in to take the exam and your proctor was wearing an I CAN'T BREATHE t-shirt.

The girl sitting behind me at my sergeant exam started crying, literally crying, when the proctor told the class we weren't allowed snacks.

I think these promotional schools should give us back 25% of our money. These guys made almost a million dollars on us I wonder if they are drinking coconuts on the beach reading this.
