Class is going in for February. No definite number of promotions yet. Probably 55 - 65. Things are subject to change. Will know by Friday. Monday latest.

I hope there's back to back classes. An old colleague is on the cusp of the lts exam.

I get my info from the same person I always get it from. Can't divulge who it is. Quite honestly, I hope it's more than just 44. But that's the number I have.

I hate to say it but.... I predict doom and gloom for anyone who wants to make the LT test and is above number 1430. Even with a lieutenants class going in they only found the need to promote 44. That is not very optimistic. If no lieutenants class goes in I only speculate 1 more class of 30 - 45 in the next two months.

I really hope I'm wrong and I am just guessing here (no source, this is a guess). I don't want peoples hopes to sky rocket and get crushed when (if) they don't put in a class. Just be happy you are still going to be a Sgt and they won't cut the list. There will always be another exam in a few years and you have a new step in your career to look forward to as a Sgt.

For anyone under list number 1430... yes there is a chance you may not make the exam and they may not put in a class. But you would be a fool to stop studying and not give 100 percent effort. Don't kick yourself in the ass for not studying and finding out you made it at the last second. Good luck to ALL !!
