As of now there is no class. If no news by end of next week then definitely no class. Keep your fingers crossed. I honestly doubt there will be one at this point. Hope I'm wrong. Good luck to everyone.

Don't be the guy who throws his study material in the can and then goes looking for it because he made that April class... Just saying you never know what tomorrow holds. There is still hope.

I would laugh if they put on 2 classes of 75 in the next 4 months and you all **** yourselves because you didn't study...

Last time there was 76 was Oct 2013 n 75 March of 2013...highly doubt there is gonna be any 70's coming around...theres usually at least one or two classes of 70's a yr...none in 2014

Technically speaking, to make the exam one would need to be in a March BMOC, since you don't have the rank until a month later. Barring an upfront promotion, March is the last BMOC that will be eligible for the exam.

If January is down I would guess. Just a guess only up to list 1430/1460 makes the test.

if you make the April class you will be eligible to take the exam. They will promote you in the orders the day before the exam. they did it for the 2011 exam

I'm over all the predictions and that's not directed to you semp bc you always try to give good info. I was predicted to get made several months ago and of course that didn't happen. No one on the site knows who will be eligible for the lt exam. You will be lucky to see someone in the 1430-1460s be made by May the way this list is going.

I don't know guys get upset. Historically there's either December or January class. Not back to back. That's why I prepared myself for the worst case scenario - February class. Feel bad for those who are studying and are on the borderline.

Yes it happened before, but nothing is guaranteed in this department.

Although, i won't be able to take the LT exam, im just grateful im getting the sgt's shield. I still have a long career ahead of me. I'll just prepare for the next LT exam whenever that comes.

I give you credit. I didn't even bother studying bc I didnt think it was worth it. That Sgt test fried me. And to study for a test that I wasnt certain id be eligible for would be a crushing defeat. May be foolish on my part but I couldn't put that effort in unless I was certain I was eligible. Too those of you who are studying and aren't promoted to Sgt yet. I wish you luck I hope it pays off.

If there is a class in april,,,,, you will not make the test.....the test is on the 18th... if there is a bmoc in april, they will get promoted towards end of the month... and you have to be a sgt before taking the test....for the 2011 exam... that october class was promoted to sgt a day before the actual exam which made them eligible.....

Ihavenohook. Please don't comment on things you are clearly wrong about. If you are in the April BMOC you will be promoted the day before the exam. They always do it for people. You won't get your shield early. You won't have an early graduation. but you will be allowed to take the test....

Lol.....are u in the same dept as me????? Because nypd will not promote u up front for u to take the test......they could care less...and i am 100% confident....... i just dont want people to study for no reason if they think theyll be in the april class.... Oh and by they way....they have never done it for ppl.....

They did it the last LTs exam, the people in BMOC got promoted before the exam so they were allowed to take it.

The last Lt. People were promoted the day before but that was only because it was their actual promotion date. They have not and will not promote just because a test is in that month. The Lt before that 2007, they promoted the BMOC class two days after

It's down to 40 and change per month. I think I had it as high as 44 a few months ago...

I am 40 and change names away :/. I hope they have a class next month and its a decent size but I won't hold my breath. We haven't seen a decent size class in a while.

By "change" I meant decimal places, not 41, 42, 43, etc!

That graph is good gauge but doesn't take into account any passovers. I just did straight math of list numbers and months.
