RS wrote that it's anticipated, what more explanation could there be? They wouldn't have created it without some sort of knowledge, as they do with every exam. It's also on the huge banner at the top of the page. Ergo, this is not the work of a troll. Details will follow when they get them.

As it has been told to me........they haven't figured an exact date, but the exam will be in the range of either late 2014 to early 2015

whether the forum is up or not... who cares??? any person can clearly see the list is more than half way done. The new list for DCAS comes out july 1 for later this year and next years tests?? im pretty certain it will have the lt test on that list. its already march, so i say september is probably ruled out esp. with a captains test. I say october or november, or maybe january or february 2015?

if brat knew brat would post! reality is that the job has submitted for sept 27 for captains. Lt is up next, my guess is the job has to look at the numbers and from there start coming up with a date to submit to dcas. It will be coming up, theres no doubt about that.

Word is still end of year...the more LTS that get promoted faster it will come. Job will look at lt numbers and then look at eligible list. The list is over half done so end of year makes all sense

For what it is worth i have the next Lieutenant exam down as 1-24-2015 for the next exam with a file date of 9-15-14 through 10-10-14. Once again nothing is ever confirmed until it comes down.

Those filling dates are made up. There's no way the comptroller's office would benefit from those numbers. The point is to have filing dates at the end of the fiscal years to pad the numbers and demostrate an increase in revenue, Economics 101. That's why filling dates are always before the end of June when the fiscal year ends.
