TSX posted "Ever since the last exam, I have always thought about filing a freedom of information act request with DCAS for a copy of the 11 Lt list and the date everyone took the exam and the reason why they didn't take it on the original date. What really irks me is that there will be people who pulled the same scam on this test and that test. I'm seriously considering doing it."
I was thinking the exact same thing after that exam, but wanted to pass this one and get promoted so there would be no appearance of being a sore loser. I'm pretty sure I didn't pass.
I am not sure what the exact numbers are, because I didn't pay much attention to the list as it changed, but I believe at least three of the top 10 scores were from people who did not take the test on test day. With minimal data, it appears that the make-up scores are much higher by any measure, and the difference is too large and consistent to be explained away by other than an unfair advantage.
This would be a huge scandal elsewhere.
It would be hugely informative to be able to compare the distribution graphs of the test day scores and the make-up scores. I'm guessing the test day scores would have a normal distribution and the make-up scores would be wildly skewed towards the top.
Anyone know what percentage took the make-up? What percentage of the top 10, 20, 100 were from the make-up exams?
