JUST SENT YOU MY ANSWERS. BUT WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT DIDNT GET TO FINISH? I ONLY GOT TO 112. THIS EXAM SHOULD HAD BEEN 7-8 HRS TO BE FAIR.

The time allotted seems to be the most common complaint, probably the only complaint, about this test. Unfortunately, if you didn't mark an answer, it will be considered wrong. You can hope that there was a disproportionate number of research questions in those last 18, but statistically, there is probably only 4 or so.
so based on your program, are the scores accounting for the questions that "won't" be counted?
another thing is that we dont know if they are going to count them or not...
The Best Possible assumes that you had the 30 research questions wrong while the worst possible assumes the opposite (both unlikely). The Most Likely takes the percentage of your total wrong answers and applies the same percentage to 30 and assigning you points appropriately. Some people will be on either side of it, but mathematically, it should be accurate for most.
I feel bad for you and others but for the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would only answer the first 100. It makes 0 sense. If you read the directions i thought it was pretty clear that they were randomly inserted and to answer ALL QUESTIONS.
Just PM'd you my answer key. i have a mac and am using the numbers program, so a few formulas did not make the cross over from excel. mainly the color highlighting of my right/wrong/and double answers. and the number of "possible doubles-have one" and the "most likely score" both are zero right now. my highest likely says 100 and my worst case says 80.

Yeah, my worst score has gone up as well. I think so far, its pretty accurate. I still don't get a "most likely score" I just get a best and worst possible. The most likely just has "ref#" written in it and never changes.
Best possible 98 Most likely. 73 Worst possible 65
Is this good or bad? Anyone care to fill me in? Im freaking out here. I go to top pay sgt if I pass and with my seniority points and medals, that can bump me another 8 points.

Here are some slightly updated scores for you. Only a minor change. I would say that you are safe in the mid 70s.
My numbers are Best 100, Most likely 81, Worst 75.
I feel thats a good sign, but I'm not convinced.
First, it's a pretty small sample size.
I'm also less confident in what 30 questions were used for research and the statistics of those fake questions being statistically on par with the rest of the exam (meaning I'm not confident that just because I got 80% of the 100 good questions correct doesn't mean that same % applies to the fakes, therefore skewing what we are putting together here) 130 is just too small a smaple which leaves the standard deviations large.
Thanks brother gamblor. Hope this algorithm is accurate as everyone says. Hey you created the OT track program that everyone uses? We use that in Occb all the time and it's great. Keep on keeping on. Can you update mine as you come across more updates please?

A lot of what you say is right. 30 questions out of 130 is a very significant amount and makes the numbers much harder to judge. The assumption I have been working on is that the "research" questions do not differ drastically from "non-research" questions. Since they were all Patrol Guide related, and so far, no one has said that any particular set of questions jumped out at them, it's a reasonable assumption for them to not differ much in the results.
I'm freaking out lol. I got a few years left to retire and just want to make boss. I definitely want to protest some questions like the duplicate one about jury duty, I mean wtf.

Thanks. I made the OT program about 8 years ago and it has slowly expanded into the monstrosity it now is, but I'm glad it gets so much usage.
What are we at now with the updated results? @wing nut that's pretty good even though there are so many variables to determine. I suggest that, like mike Yanosik from the elite said, everyone should attend that protest session and see what you got. but also let them know how you felt about this test (the time frame given for an extra 30 questions) and focus on the duplicate question and any other test based questions that you guys can think of where you were on the fence with the answer. I have a few in my mind that should be thrown out as being too borderline with the answer choice they gave. If anyone can think of questions for us to formulate, PM me so we can go to Dcas with a list of unfair questions and hopefully get them thrown out. These promotional class teachers, from fast track to elite to rising star and the key, would have protested the questions they thought were too tricky or too misleading but since they were unable to take the test, the cannot be our voice. Mike Yanosik said everyone should try to attend, it's for our own benefit and the future of our careers...
i hope that 31 possible keys from other people are legitimate one, and hope fully no one send you twice for their answer or put in twice accidentally =/.
are you still accepting answer keys?
BEST POSSIBLE :98
MOST LIKELY : #REF!
WORST POSSIBLE: 67
