As im sure everyone has, I received my notifiction for the test yesterday. I live upstate and I am being sent to take the test in BROOKLYN. This is about a two hour commute for me.. is anyone else having or had this problem before?? Last test, i took it in the Bronx, I just dont understand why they would do this.. no

That may have to do with when you registered.  Register early get closer testing site, register later have to where they have space. Did you wait till the end?

They probably have fewer testing sites because less people signed up for this exam.

I know someone else with the same problem. I heard it could be the computerized test.

DCAS only has 2 computerized testing sites. One is on Jaroloman Street in Brooklyn and the other is at 2 Lafayette Street in Manhattan

Jay77 you are not the only one. I also live upstate and got sent to BK to take the test. I called dcas to inquire and their response was that people that live in the Bronx-manhattan get sent to those same borough they live in and people who reside upstate get sent to wherever they have space available. I told the guy, that the logic would be to send people upstate closer in the city since we have to travel longer. His response was " I tried my best sir" I guess he didn't try hard enough. I guess common sense is not that common anymore. I know people that live upstate who are taking it in the bronx, I guess we got the worst part of the deal.
