Got the Admission Notice. Just a few questions.

Can we bring food? I know it says no cellphone but the last time obtook the test peo ppl le brought their cellphones. Do they check at other test site or is it out of sight out of mind? I am taking public transportation and I want to have my cellphone on me. Looks like my test won't be on a computer, said bring 2 pencils and nothing about a computer.

Out of sight out of mind. You should definitely bring water and a granola bar or something similar.

You can bring full on sandwiches in with you. When I took the 2011 class I had food with me. Believe me you will need it.

There were guys with full lunch boxes at the 2011 test... I dont see why people need to eat you will be there 4 hours maximum. People go a little overboard its a multiple choice exam not a triathlon

I received my Admission notice as well which asks to bring pencils so here is hoping that I won't be using the computer for this exam. I plan on leaving my phone in my car that is for sure no need for any unwanted issues there. Here is hoping I do well and I also wish well for the rest of you guys and girls taking this exam. Can't believe we will get our lives back soon. I do not know about anyone else here but I will be loading up my PS3, and playing a few hours of GTA 5 after this exam, lol. Again good luck all!

How is everyone feeling ? I can honestly say I have been studying since the beginning and still do not feel too confident. I've been doing well in the practice exams but I just feel like I am not ready. Everything is a big blob in my head. How are you all preparing these last two weeks ?

As soon as I come home after the test I am playing GTA 5. I have it sitting on my shelf. My brother says I have some discipline not playing it.

I have been doing questions after question. I am doing good but some sections I am a little rusty. My head is overloaded. I studied so much today (about 7 hrs). I did some questions and I couldn't focus and I was getting them wrong bc I was burnt out so i'll save for tomorrow. I feel like no matter how much I study I won't be ready. Yoy learn something new and it pushes the other stuff out.

Bring some food. Don't listen to people who say do not bring anything. I would bring granola bar. Maybe some fruit. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. On my Sgt exam. Some guy had a pizza and I had nothing. I was dying. Taking some brain food is good. By the way it is more than 4 hours. First you have 6 hours for total exam. I recommend staying the full time. Done early so what ? You do not get a gold star for finishing first. Check over your work. But be careful not to over think some questions. Also. The max
Time for exam is. 6 hours. That does not take into account traveling their, waiting for your room and entry and leaving. I'd say 8 hours or more sounds more like it. Make sure you are prepared. Bring colored pencils or highlighter. Erasers. Pencil sharpener , solar powered calculator. Have it all in bag ready to go so you do not forget anything on day of exam. Yes it is just a 100 question exam however it is not always so easy. Just ask the many people who studied for months on end for the 2011 Lt exam. I do hope your exam is fair but you just will not know until you open that booklet on exam day. Many sgts I personally know did not even finish the Lt exam to show you how unfair and hard it was . Again. Be prepared. Some people will not need a break or food or anything. Good for them. For most people a little break here and there can do wonders for your mind if its possible. Good luck.
