At the puzzle palace yest--Yup---gonna be a big Sgt class and a big Lt class in May. Back to Back big ones for Lt. There are a TON of retirements. Probably b/c of Sandy OT. There will also be a Capt exam announced at the end of the year for those of u who r Lts. Oh, and yes---a Lt. exam as well for Sgts already. These retirements have solidified that as well as the small list. Straight from the words of an OMAP ninja. Just passing along guys

I could've told you that. That's what happens when hundreds of Sergeants are in line to retire with many retiring. Thanks for keeping us updated to the best of your ability. I've noticed a lot of opinions have changed with the brass in regards to this list too, now with all pretty much thinking its a go like we've always thought. With phase 1 being at 1,100 almost give or take we see where it's going and how fast the movement is going to most likely be once again through the summer months like always.
no you don't, its not that serious, got promoted a few years ago and i never went. They give you tasks to do and if your in a busy command you'll never be able to get them done. Don't stress its not that serious.
The instructors don't have tax numbers matched up with the guys still on the list. So if you have a common name than you are probably never going to get notified for phase 1 since they don't want to bring in the wrong person with the same name.
I work midnights. I got noticed for Phase 1 last night. Just called the Uniform Promotions Unit to tell em I cant attend because I got vacation next week.
Its def bull****/useless training because he didnt hesitate, ask for a tax number etc. The Sgt who picked up the phone just said "oh ok, no problem"
