Banks wasn't such a gentlemen at comp stat on Thursday. He jumped down one of his DI's throats because he didn't answer a stupid Izzo question well enough. All the three stars were auditioning.

Beat me to the punch...was gonna write the same thing. All the super chiefs were diving to the microphone to get a word in during that meeting. So transparent. I remember when I was studying for Sgt in 2005, Banks was a Captain. 7 years later he's a 3 star Chief. That's quite the meteoric rise.

I don't see them doing that. The promotions are usually once a month. I think the #s at least grant us a decent size class this April, which is great!

Wow. Besides BRAT I'm the only person here with ANY info.I also knew before anybody there was no Thanksgiving and No xmas classes and nobody wanted to believe me.. But u know what? I will keep my info to myself. U will not see another post from me. U just hurt urselves. Enjoy not having any information since a couple of u blame me for the Police Commisioner changing plans on two occasions.

tiger, march 28 was a go. It was deferred to april 26 for a reason i do not know. So your info was not completely wrong.

I have no inside info as to how big the next class will be but I was informed that calls are being made regarding persons with List numbers over #200 (and who have pending cases) and whether or not they are cleared for promotion. Now that's a good sign to me! biggrin

Agreed. It would be nice to have 2 classes back to back, but it adds up to the same anyway. 50 in April vs. 25 and 25 in two separate months. It will allow us to break list # 200.

I definitely believe this, considering the info I relayed above regarding clearance being sought for people in the 200's. Typically, the powers that be aren't looking at list numbers that are +65 more than the current number (at least on a Lt's list) to see if their pending cases are open or closed. biggrin

Was there ever a class beyond 35? I don't believe ever reading on the board that they had a class of 50. Perhaps because the vacancies didn't add up.

The vacancies and anticipated promotions are great news!!!!! Hopefully this Pace continues.. I originally anticipated promotions at 15 per month = 180 Lts a year. This is a good start and better than expected. Best of luck to all who get the call!!!!!!!
