Lol I think it would be a little comical for a brand new SGT with no supervisory experience going straight into OCCB and in charge of a group of seasoned rugged OCCB Cops/Dets.

sorry men---may the force be strong with you. its coming down very very soon and their looking for 50 warm bodies to join vader on the death star. they already plucked the sgts on Lt list for OCCB---so now its the dark sides time to pluck----good luck--i made this round---they ll be more to come in the summer......
They don't draft PO's!! They only draft bosses to occb and IAB. And if you ask the bosses drafted about OCCB they will probably tell you that they like it and are making great money....

what he is saying is that sgts got drafted to occb alreadt...they were the guys drafted from the lt list....now iab is gojng to draft 50 bodies....not pos but recently promoted sgts
No PO s or Det s can be drafted---they MUST volunteer. they will be drafting from this SGT list---meaning guys who were promoted from May 29th on. many of the sgts who were plucked last test are coming up on their time served. they have already selected who they will take---my buddy says the orders are coming down to Personnel this week. good luck. oh----and no----i am not in IAB and hope to stay that way.
IAB can draft u as soon as ur 6 MONTH window opens till your 1 year mark. However--I have been advised that vacation does NOT count towards that 1 year mark----so u can be grabbed even with a little over ur 12 month mark---depending on how much va-k u have used. Lets hope for the best----there s 50 getting picked up next few weeks as of now and 25 in the spring. i ll be praying for all---i dont wish that on anyone.

hey ondeeair....7 guys got drafted this week.....is your number of 50 still in play for the upcoming weeks??? i was in first class and got a pretty decent CPI so im alil worried.
You guys need to stop your complaining. I know guys who got drafted to iab and are doing fine. You make your own schedule and get 35 hours of ot. Plus your not responsible for any cops or detectives

sgt2be want to volunteer for iab according to the PSA5 thread. So thats one less guy drafted.
Actually im happy in brooklyn....and it doesnt really matter what your opinion is of me. Typical nypd fashion,bash its own. If i was unhapppy somewhere and had to find a way out, id absolutely do IAB to make my life better for me and my family. I got an opinion, if you dont like it you dont have to read it.
