guys in the current bmoc are saying sgt promotions slated for the 21st....so youre promotions may be on the 21st like predicted...hope so guys good luck!

It seems like the Sgt's board keeps info coming. We tend to get scraps on here, recycled from the Sgt's thread. I would think people would at least have heard something solid by now.

There's no concrete information out yet for us and I wouldn't call the constant back and forth and arguing info on that sergeants board.

You know how this job is..things change every 10 mins. My promotion date changed in bmoc for no apparant reason. Im going back to the sgt board where i belong....wish u guys all luck on thr future promotions

I called uniform promotions regarding a different issue this evening. I happened to ask them if they were aware of promotions for lieutenants this month. The lady told me that they do not normally hear anything until after the second week of the month. Slow down with the craziness... This has happened before where they said no, then yes, then no, then yes etc etc etc... Let's all stand by. The vacancy numbers are -10 with 38 on terminal. A bunch of lieutenants come off 12/31/12. Reality is promotions won't mean crap anyway. You all are forgetting. The end of the world is right around the corner.

If promotions are Dec 21, then notifications for pics should be coming down this week thurs 12/13 or friday 12/14... So lets hope for the best!!!!

thats what EMD always say when you call to harass them... they receive tons of call... I'm sticking to dec 21 promotion date until futher notice... notice Brat stated that their should be promotions this month, and hasn't stated other wise, but she has stated no promotions for captains this month... Until Brat post otherwise or no notifications for pics then i'm going with Dec 21...

I know I may not have many posts, but I assure you guys im no troll. On that note, a friend of mine who got drafted told me that IAB got the call to start clearing sergeants for the next Lt. promotion. He told me that he was 65% sure the call for pictures would come down on the 14th. I know its not incredibly solid, but hope it helps

I believe it was active june 14, 2012 so by law it has to be active for at least 1 year but no more than 4 unless powers that be wave magic wand and something happens, lol. I do not believe this list has enough people on it to even make it to 4 years with the current predictions on retirements. But if it were to last all 4 years, that would be June 14, 2016.

No way. Three months is no biggy. Therumormill just posted they are -9 with 39 on terminal. That's 48 potential vacancies plus anticipated captain promotions. Look, we all have jobs. What's another month. Things will start moving rapidly again. Who knows, the job could pull a rabbit out of its eight point cap, and throw a couple lieutenants in at the last minute.
