On the Captain's board, Brat is reporting that there will be only 63 names on the new Captain's list.  For those recently promoted to Lt. or reasonably close to being promoted - and have interest in Capt., start studying...

Way too soon. Including the current list there's 93 people eligible to be promoted. That's approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years of promotions. I would guess another test in early 2014.

what are the chances that someone will be able to take the next capts test if their list # is in the mid 460's, or will mid 460's be promoted in about three years ???? Just want someone's best guess

Everything depends on when the Captain test is given. If it happens late next year I doubt it but if it's given late 2014 there's a good chance. This is assuming promotions remain at the current rate.

 Lol, hate when people post that as if there isn't a 2 year requirement before getting promoted to any rank after sergeant.
