Don't worry bro...The time will fly by and before you know it, you'll be called. Just hang in there and try to enjoy your time as a PO. Take it from me. You won't miss the circus (command) but you'll definitely miss the clowns (friends)...

This job is ****ing ridiculous with the nonsense reasons why they hold people back from promotion. I personally know a guy who was held up because after writing a moving summons to a disgruntled motorist, said motorist made a complaint that he never returned their registration card. I also know another guy who was held up because a prior partner of his was under investigation. And my boss wants to know why I dont want to do any patrol related functions until I go to BMOC. Sorry many ... hopefully everything works out ... usually they promote you with the rest of the current BMOC but make you go through BMOC as a sergeant with the next class. Good luck
