RE: September BMOC

The BMOC LT said that as of now, the number is anywhere from 53-57 sgt's for the Sept BMOC plus no labor day

Any guesses on what # they get up to? Depending on how many prior pass overs get cleared, I'd say around #395.

Lt said No Labor Day detail for the September guys, so it could be the 3rd from what he is saying... Finest should come down Wednsday or Thursday the week of our graduation which is 08/31/12. Even though we are still assigned through the 9th of Sept, we will be at Field training so our assignment to BMOC shouldn't affect a date like September 3rd.

I really like my command and MOST of the people I work with. I am in the early 600's and it still can't come soon enough LOL. I feel bad for those of you who are in a bad place. =/

I know how you feel, I'm in a great house with great people all around (for the most part), but also can't wait to get the bump. I'm in the early 600's as well, but won't hit 5 until July. Would be nice to get passed over.

Guys, no offense but if this thing is confirmed why has Brat not also chimed in? I only ask because every time a BMOC goes in she confirms it. I'm a little skeptical.

It's reasonable to be skeptical. She did say she was going on a little vacation and taking a break from here. Also, the folks above are just reiterating the words of the LT. I wouldn't say its confirmed, but as with the last bunch of classes, his word has been on-point.

All I can tell you is that the BMOC Sgt and LT gave us this annoncement during the class.. The only thing not confirmed was the number.. The Lt elaborated further by saying 53-57 sergeants.. As for Brat, well maybe she is busy or on vacation.. This is reliable information as there were over 70 witnesses who heard this information.. Good luck to all of you in the upcoming September class and for the rest of you waiting, your time is around the corner, so hang in there.

Last year the September BMOC started on Labor day, so it absolutely can be the 3rd.

Last years BMOC went in on Labor Day. Holidays mean nothing on this job.

Conservative guess ..... About 380 or just under. But you never know... It could possibly hit 400 with passovers.

How do you figure 380 when the list has averaged about a 25% passover rate, plus there are around 6 guys without time after in the 50 names after 328...

I'm projecting that it's going to get to 395+ if not into the 400's.

Tell that to the Bmoc staff.  Academy staff are taken care of, in the 03 academy they gave us July 4th and in May's Bmoc we were all able to take Memorial day off.  Holidays in a patrol command mean nothing,  same does not apply to the hooked up gigs.

You Misunderstand. I made a "conservative" guess. That means im assuming no passovers and maybe some passovers who are now eligible. I agree that it could hit 400, but I'm sure that it will hit at least 380...key phrase is "at least." :)
