Something tells me that dcas is not changing your list number if your score is not changed. They do adjust list number for others and give them new list numbers as xx.1, .2, .3

I have a new list number that ends with a .5, they're not going to adjust the entire list for everyone so they just give list numbers that fit in between the existing list numbers,
it is not done yet, the protest period just ended yesterday. I submited my fitness points for addition to my score and my list number still the same. it should be complete soon i would say
I spent last week discussing this with DCAS, Testing & Research and Uniformed Promotions...in that order. The appeal period should be over. I spoke with someone in DCAS earlier in the week and she said they were mailing out "a bunch" of new score cards. I received mine later in the week with a .5 number. I jumped about 30 names, in the 200 block. All 3 offices stated that they do NOT issue a new list. It actually sounds really super secret squirrel. DCAS sends the adjusted scores to Personnel and Personnel gives the information to Uniformed Promotions. I asked everyone how one would know their accurate list # under this system, and I was basically told that no one gets that information. Obviously, Personnel must have some sort of list compiled at the end, but I don't know anyone who knows about it or how to get their hands on it. Uniformed Promotions said that they don't even get that list, they are just told who to adjust. In summation, you don't get a new list # if someone jumps you, but it is possible to have people ahead of you that you are unaware of...which would affect your place on the list. No one could give me a number on how many "adjustments" there were. In the end, I don't think that it will throw the list off all that much. Most likely, the same people will still be ahead of everyone, just in a different order. I am the only person I personally know who was missing points. I have heard of others on both forums, but not many. I was missing 1.5 points, which would explain the bigger jump. I think it'll be easier to see if you follow the list as people get promoted. The odds are slim that like 10 people would suddenly appear in the FINEST message when you are about to get promoted. I think it'll be more like 1 or 2, here and there, that are on the FINEST that weren't expected to be. I never post on here, but for once I had some information, so I thought I'd share. Good luck. And thank you to everyone who has shared their information in the past.
I jumped up a bit, I am now 228.1 lol after the fitness point was added, however they did not add my medals after I specifically wrote that also in the protest form I submitted to DCAS. Not sure what to do now.
D oh thanks for taking the time to clear some of this up. In the end as anxious as we all are, take the time to be thankful your name appeared on this list, regardless of position.
I was missing a full fitness point. I protested and I jumped from the 250s to the 230s and have a .5 list number. Great to jump 20 names, but I have a feeling that at least 20 guys jumped with me and I am no closer to promotion than I was. Maybe further back. F*** DCAS.
I was missing points but really did not care even if I got 50 names closer. I protested and got my points just so I wouldn't be pushed back on the list.
I am not sure what the consensus is on how they added points whether its fitness, seniority, medals, veterans, etc. in being accurate, but I can tell you my score was exactly what I calculated based on those things. I didn't have veterans credit, but I had everything else in some form or another and DCAS actually calculated it correctly when the list officially came out, no complaints here.
So what I am wondering is how many people had missing points on their official list based on those things. I am on here saying DCAS calculated it perfectly and I will not gain any spots on my list #. Am I in the minority? Did most people get shortchanged or just a few people. The reason I ask is bc if there are a lot of people missing points, this list could look very different. If a high enough percentage of people are getting new scores, a lot of other people like myself thinking they will be promoted soon could be waiting a lot longer than originally anticipated.
No way. Come on man, how many People do u actually think did the fit test(s) more than say once or even twice tops!! The list will not change that much
