Well since July was not designated the "down" month of the academy it makes total sense that August will be the "down" month instead.

Andrew, it's too early to tell. We will know for sure by the 3rd Week of July if there is going to be an August BMOC class. Here are the months of promotions for the 2009 sergeants list, hopefully history repeats itself. NOVEMBER 2010- 63 NAMES DECEMBER 2010- 74 NAMES FEBRUARY 2011- 65 NAMES APRIL 2011- 59 NAMES JUNE 2011- 72 NAMES JULY 2011- 72 NAMES AUGUST 2011- 40 NAMES SEPTEMBER 2011- 79 NAMES OCTOBER 2011- 72 NAMES JANUARY 2012- 54 NAMES MARCH 2012- 54 NAMES

BMOC training typically goes down for one month of the summer session. Being that July shall have a class that pretty much solidifies August as being the month that the BMOC session will go on hiatus.

For the dumb: NO AUGUST BMOC!

We can't be too greedy...3 consecutive classes and all within 1 year of the test. I think we're lucky that its progressed this quick. A down month was bound to happen eventually. Although it would be nice if we could continue postponing it a few more months!!
