If promotions are the 29th, I would think the notification for ID photos would come down this week. Does anyone know how much notice they give you? Do they lock you in to a date/time to get the picture taken? I'm hoping it comes down today or tomorrow, but that's just a guess. Anyone know?
you usually will get the telephone message on the friday before (22nd) and they want you down there mon or tuesday to get the pix........at your convenience (they generally give you whatever hours they are down there)
@edubz....guilty conscience? Could be on medical, educational hold or might not have enough time in rank too. Not everyone is jammed up, most hopefully not me. LNTM.
From what I heard, a lot of people that are at the top of the list don't have enough time in rank yet. Don't forget, there have been alottt of sgt promotions within the last couple years. Makes sense that they did well because the material was still fresh in their heads
I didn't read what brat posted. Just passing along what I was told. Believe me I could care less, I'm in the 400's so passovers for time won't affect me anyway cause by the time I get promoted all the passovers will have been promoted already
@ LTtest, Someone posted the list of not enough time, it looked like 7 or so in the top 50. So 8-10 passed for other reasons seems high to me, like 20%. Of course it may be credits, etc, but it seems high. Guess we'll see soon enough.
For as long as I can remember, if promotions are Friday the 29th, then notifications will come down Wednesday the 27th, usually sometime after 1500. From what brat and some others have said, notification for your new ID photo would likely come tomorrow, so you can get your photo taken Monday or Tuesday.
I believe it. I went to get my fitness points and when I walked in he said "LT?" then handed me a preprinted form just for this exam... Told me plenty have been coming in.
Stig if they are restructuring and your borderline first class you should prob go get those points they owe you.

The whole order of the list is wrong. You can't have someone with a 40 getting promoted AFTER someone with a 50. It goes against everything civil service and unions stand for. One thing that IS fair about this job is the testing and promotion procedure and this list is all screwed up. I should be about 30 names higher. WTF!

Yea Promotion unit said 35 cleared but possible redistribution of list could delay. It was unclear if the class would be June 29th or later. June 29 not ruled out as of today, but you never know there is a chance it will be pushed back. They could just do bigger class if it gets skipped, only time will tell.
how hard could it be to figure out the new list numbers? what do they have to do go through the first 60-80 names?
Good point. It's not like they have to go through numbers 1-661 right now. All they have to clear immediately is the first 80 or so. I guess it's a matter of the FIT unit doing their verification and giving the results to DCAS, then readjusting the list as necessary for the first class. Seems simple enough, but simple tasks seem difficult for DCAS. All we can do now is do what we did for 8 months. Wait and see and guess as to how it's going.
