Can pending command discaplines, i.e. "A c.d.'s " or a command discipline for missing traffic court hold up a promotion? Is there a way to check to see how your discplinary standing is before you are on deck to become promoted? Any information would be greatly appreciated, Thanks and good night!

Nope, there was a guy in Mays Bmoc with a CD pending for missing traffic court.
I PROMISE YOU it will hold you up....the only way to get into bmoc with it is signing off that cd. IF youre cd is not ready to be signed off, then it will hold you back. IT will come up as an IAB hold. I did not get held back btw i am a sgt

I am surprised though that the guy declined the CD and still made it in because now they have to request charges and specs on the guy. Are you sure he declined it? Or was he full of sh1t?

I guess he got lucky. If you refuse to sign off on a cd that's charges.. You can have open IAB logs and still get promoted. It depends on the group that's handling your case. When they clear you for bmoc they give IAB a call to see if your good to go.. They either say yes or no. In regards to not signing cd I'm suprised he made it to bmoc

whoever you sat next to is talking out of his a$$ then. The facts are simple....if you miss traffic court or a case you are pending investigation by IAB. The ONLY way to get in is to sign off on the cd.....and i know bc my good friend from the 09 exam had the same situation. He was SKIPPED over and had to have someone make a phone call ot find out the reason was a IAB hold bc of not being notified correctly for traffic court. Well didnt matter, still got a cd and was lucky the CO was willing to help him out.
