Its not like the Academy. I believe you can invite as many people as you want, but its probably going to be a mad house (depending on if there are Detective promotions along with Sgts/Lts promotions) and also fellow UMOS who may come to show their support. You are better off inviting as few people as you can.

 You can bring the whole town if you want. First come first serve but there's always standing room in the back. The ceremony is 15 minutes long anyway.

I remember when I got promoted to Det. 4 years ago, we had the ceremony with the new Sgts. the place was a mad house. A couple of fights almost broke out because people were holding on to seats for other family members. The back was packed with an over flow into the hallway.

What u state is true but every bmoc cops will get skipped for various reasons and many who are in trouble might not even promoted. The list number will always be more that actual cops promoted.

Although they are reaching 235 the number isn't exactly that. By July only 3 classes will have entered BMOC. Simple math divulges that the true number of people promoted will be (75+50+50)175. There are 65 people who have been skipped and still deserve to get promoted way before you or I do. So to recap, only a total of 175 p.o's will be promoted by early August so in essence the people skipped can and will come back to skip you in the future.

Here endeth the lesson.
