Yeah, the 27th would be my guess, they always seem to come down on Wednesday. Mine did for this class and so did another guy's for the May class. Congrats all who made it, especially all you five year wonders waiting your turn, hehe. Wish I could've made sergeant before hitting top pay, good job.

Just wasn't sure what date they went in, for example (I have no idea what is was) 7-10-07. If they put in a 7/2/12 class it would leave them a week short. I think they deserve it, I just know the job can be retarded at times and wasn't sure if 4 years and 51 weeks, counted as 5 years in their eyes.

You need 5 at date of graduation, not date of entry into bmoc.

If 50 go in for the July BMOC cladd, with pass overs (19), they would go up to list #220-230.

I've heard eot lost time isn't a huge issue but I'd ask others currently in class in other forum they'd probably be of use.

You can take days off, some people even take a week of AVP. Like others are saying, unless it's something you really need to do, like an already paid for trip or sister's wedding, I would just save the days because BMOC is like a boring vacation in itself. Way easier than actually working, better to use your days for that.

August class is a wash if indeed there is a July class.BMOC classes go down for one month in the summer. It wasn't July so it means it will be August.

One thing I have learned is that if we are going to be supervisors, we need to learn how to convey a message in a diplomatic way. This is the NYPD and nothing is written in stone as we have learned with the July class. So to say the August class is a wash is done just to get a rise out of people. The fact of the matter is that no one on this forum knows about an August class. And like my portfolio, "past performance does not guarantee future results".

Midnight, i have a bag of pixy dust to sell you if you are interested. Some of you are way to gullible. If left to your vices you would be assuming that there will be a BMOC for every month left and yet past years have shown otherwise. Stop living in a fantasy based world already. Even Ontheeair stated what I have been stating that here are only about 3 BMOC classes remaining.

Unfortunately, the fanatical minds of over zealous optimists will prevail and the notion that more BMOCs are on the way will be accepted as truth. Talk about sipping your own cool aid.

Supercop, as always thanks for you info. It always seems to be on par. My thoughts are holy crap tho! lol that means ALOT of passovers or the class is bigger than 50. just from 186-232 is 40 names. But prior to 186 I believe that 17 people picked up the time on the job. Im in the 190s and have no issues I know of. But wow man thats alot of passovers. Im assuming the FINEST will come down tomm

Thats true Ghetto. Alot of passovers. Even if guys had gone before the board, its going to take awhile for them. Also guys who may have signed off on their charges etc. may also have to wait awhile. Everything has to be signed off by the P.C. and it seems hes in no hurry to sign off on anything. Finest should come down tommorrow after 4pm

2 Questions:

1. What is the attire necessary for BMOC?

2. If you are squad 3 which was rdo sun mon and tues, goes back tommorow on wed, would you have this weekend off with a chart change? If no chart change then squad 3 would be working 10 days in a row, which im pretty sure cant happen without ot issues
