Things are slowing down to a trickle. 50 in a class is a large class from here on out. Heard a vile rumor that the next class(August) will only be 40 bodies. Anyone else hear this?

I don't think this year for promotions is going to be like the 09 test in regards to numbers.

Most definitely not. Lt's manning supposedly where the Dept wants it to be, Sgt's manning basically in the ballpark of where the Dept wants them to be, Sgt's not being promoted to Lt, Sgt's not retiring in the numbers they did in previous years, most Sgt's being young on the Job(Alot of 5 year wonders)and having alot of time to go in rank and in their career.... I dunno about this list. Might be a while.. That is, if all these things people are saying are actually true. Only time will tell, speculation is really just futile. All we can do is wait for info from people in the 'know'.....

Is it for sure there wont be a JULY class? I thought usually july is the fiscal period and they usually hire July.

100% sure there is no July class. They are down for that summer month.

Lt in last BMOC said probably not but that he wasn't sure. They usually take their vacations then, but if the Dept needs a class, they do it.

Well let me see....The class number just nose dived to 50 per class and a strong rumor that they will go down to 40 per class and you sit there and actually believe the department has a need for more classes? WOW!

U never know, there was a July class last year if I remember correctly let's just wait and see.
