Just a FYI. Sgt.'s list guys were were reporting for military appointments mid-January (e.g. Jan. 19th). Their list dropped April 4th.

Only positive is that our list will not be nearly as large.

I was in the first Bmoc for the 06 test, and had that happen to me. While in class DCAS actually came in and asked if I still wanted to use my veterans points. She gave me a form to sign deferring the points for that list, because my score without the points still put me in the 1st class.

I'm going to say this for the last time. The list is not at the palace and this list has not been established yet. If you want to make things up for your own psych then go ahead.

Anyone who had passed this exam with their raw score has already been called down, these are guys who had originally failed. I would guess that there are only a handful of guys who are in this position. Most have already used their points to either get on the job or for sergeant, or are not in the target range 60-69.

I agree Hab. I don't see it taking much time to validate the veterans info, not many of us. MNfive0, elaborate on your friend who failed getting a letter. Did he initially not have a 70 for this exam, and just received a letter or are you speaking of a prior exam.

If dcas just started notifying folks for their veteran credits how can the list then be at 1pp? Wouldnt they do that prior to given it to the department?

From what my husband thinks....  (i am not on the job he is but like all of you and him,  i too am anxiously waiting for this list to come out) Veterans points are aready given n the list is established (to anyone who passed) and that the interview is merely for people to submit proof/verify them prior to the list being released.... He's not sure and does not know this for a fact but its just what he's heard in the past.... Good luck to all....

backlog, I've checked with everyone that could have gotten this list at 1PP, and none were able to even give a hint that it was there.

Even if true how do they make the adjustment for those that decide they don't want to use their veterans credit if the list is already generated?

I hear you but we had reliable posters state the "package" was at 1pp.  We still have guys like Ondeeir stating his source is saying list to be released some time this month.  However, it seems to be counterintuitive for dcas to issue the list to the department without veterans points included.

That to me makes more sense considering the circumstances.  Honestly, this is the first time I've ever witness so much misinformation in this forum.

The "package" was just the updated sgt list. Honest mistake

As far as the list not being at 1PP, it maybe possible its there. It could be they are under direct orders not to release any info, thats why they didn't give me a heads up. But I do know a few people personally that I think would have given me at least a hint that it's there. Could be wrong.

Let us know how it goes on the 25th hopefully you can muster some info out of the dcas representative lol.  Honestly, I like it much better this way (not having a rumor date).

And there it is...another person making an absolute statement.  I believe technocrat was just speculating.  No need to get all pissy.  No one on this forum has any right to declare any absolutes, cause as it's been proven even the most reliable sources have been wrong!!

I'm not getting pissy I'm just telling you what I know from my sources. Clearly if it was at the palace the list would have been out or leaked by now. It's said to have been at the palace for a while now and no one seems to know anything about it ? Give me a break. This is the NYPD nothing is ever kept under wraps like that.

A previous poster did say a source told him July and we jumped all over him but we still have no list. It was speculation for the past 4 Wednesdays that it was coming out and we still have no list. You have to start leaning toward July especially since people have June appointments for the credits. It just makes sense guys and gals.

I got a 66 and have not received my veterans letter yet. Don't know if it says something about the throw outs or the USPS. Oh well, just wait and see I guess.

So, does anybody know that veteran's credits verification is necessary to release the list? That is, can anyone spell out dcas' part of this process?

If the list is not at 1 PP, then how does stiggity know that there are 660-669 on the list? That's a pretty precise estimate

If the list was there then an exact number would have been given and if the person had that much access then stiggity would have got his list number as well. The list is not there

The 660 was us getting f'ed in the rear and the 669 is us getting f'ed from all angles. So stigg was say he doesn't know if we r getting it one way or both ways but it's somewhere in the middle. This is how my credible source put it to me. One thing for certain we have been getting 66'ed since October 29 2011. Anyone else remember the weather that day I remember feeling lost like I took the wrong exam and when I saw the weather it was like the movie. The day after tommorow. That being said go rangers

When I took the captain's test on saturday, I asked the DCAS proctor guy (the one who escorts you to the bathroom and watches you piss) about the test. I asked what are the chances of the list being out this week. He said "it's very small". But I'm not sure if he was talking about the list or something else. Just throwing a confirmed rumor out there.

I'm pretty sure that an eligible list cannot be established until vet credentials are verified.

Do you really think the guy dcas sends to watch you piss would know whats going on with our exam. Most of those people are half wits. We had to tell the proctor in our room to hand out the exams because she didnt know what the bell meant
