**** em. I have 10 years on this job, as do a few others in this class. Some people get older and forget the jackassery they themselves participated in during their younger, more interesting years. Not to mention these are the same guys who will deride their bosses who are too serious, too shaky, or too kool aid drunk. If they don't want a boss like me, that's their problem. My name is on this site and they can make phone calls. I'm 100% positive they'd be happy to have a guy with my mindset as their boss.

I concur that Petey and Charlie had our May BMOC thread taken down in retaliation for our critiques...

Could be. Or it can be the result of the 49 that Tuppy hand delivered to Iab.

Thee rant is basically irrelevant nowadays. The majority of guys there are retired and post about how the job was in the 70s and 80s.

You better get it done before that guy brings your dossier to the dep comm and gets you terminated!

If anyone was thinking about requesting a shield number, get it done. I had to take my ID picture today and figured "Why not?" They were nice enough to deal with and wrote down the number I picked on a list they had of our names. The lady said they will be assigning all of our shields early next week.

GM, just call the shield desk. I don't know the direct number. Call the 1PP operator and ask for the shield desk.

i should say commands that are available are in---sorry. however---people w phone calls have been "hooked" up already. LOTS of IMPACT COMMANDS on the availability sheet. also a lotta people that came from special units have pretty decent commands tied up for their 6 month stint before they go back to their spots. FYI...........

i think we need to have a no question rule. as u see we were duped into believing that if we participated in the class we would have an early release time, only to find ourselves once again bumper to bumper.
