Not true, we don't even know the current terminal/vacancy numbers to assess if there's a need to promote LT's. The last count I got was the rank over by 22 with 38 on terminal but that was almost a month ago.

+2, 40 on terminal. Also, people have attempted to post info but have had their accounts blocked. It is not coming tomorrow. And I'd be very happy if I was wrong. Edit: lt. Numbers are from last week.

Stig's right. Don't knock HB. Even though it's not what we want to hear, lol. He doesn't have a crystal ball but then again he's not a 2-post idiot who's here to stir the pot. He has posted here hundreds of times so give him credit. Nothing (even tomorrow) is guaranteed until it happens anyway. Until then at least give the guy some credit for posting what appears to be reliable info, and a promotional school instructor's info has to carry some weight. It would explain why there's no update on DCAS automated system. It seems pretty safe to say a week at the most and we should have a list, based on May 9th and HB's info.

There's no point to release the list tomorrow because they won't promote any Lts for the next 2 months. They just had back to back classes. If they release the list tomorrow it will be established and the 4 yr countdown begins. We will lose 2 months of it.

HHope ur right backlog I just don't want them to establish the list and then wait a few months for a class. Im in the 60s so if i get lucky and get my points I know I will wait 3 to 4 yrs to get made. Every month counts

4 year countdown DOES NOT begin until they promote off of it. That's when it becomes active and established. They can release it prior and that makes it what they call PUBLIC. Thats the least they can do for us and let us all know how we did.

In case anyone cares - I went through the threads for the sergeant's exam, and the last minute rumors about throw outs and doubles were on point with the end result. Hopefully 5+14 bodes well for those on the cusp.

In Valley Stream last night, at the Key class for the upcoming Capts exam, the instructors stated the aforementioned 5 throwouts/14double answers and said the list may come out tomorrow but more likely next Wednesday.

The caveat is that they most likely got that info indirectly from here. On a brighter note, the upcoming captain's promotions will create more vacancies.
