To many variables to actually have any idea how large this list will be. Bringing the disputed questions to almost 20 will bring some in the 50's to the 70 mark. The further one is away from the 70, will statistically affect the probability of them reaching 70 as they will not receive every double answer. I think we should start getting some intel sometime late next week as we move closer to May 9.

Transit we are having a real conversation here. Let's be realistic, the list is not going to stay 150 or 241. NYPD231, I agree, not many people bombed the judgement portion. Maybe the list will only double to 500 give or take

I am in the very low 60's, but I knew from the very beginning that I would be on the list. Just waiting to see my list number so I can make future plans.
Well I got to be honest, I did not study until the very end. I took off two weeks before the test, and got lucky. I am more than confident that I will be on the list. If my list number is high though, I will defer it. It will not be worth it for me.
I'm thinking 500-600. Using the 2006 Sgt's list as an example, that list was around 200 before throw outs. After 4 doubles and 2 throw outs, it only went to 350. If this list is at 150 right now, I think the 18 will add around 500 people. You are talking about tripling the list- that is pretty significant, even if it only brings it to 500. Granted the more you got wrong, the better your chance at picking up the points; I just don't see people in the mid 50's picking up 15 out of 18 to get to a score of 70. I'm guessing the 18 doubles/throw outs will get you the people in the 60's up to the 70 mark. I can't imagine there are more than 500 people in the 60-69 range, when there are only 150 above 70. . . . If it is 5 throw outs and 13 or 14 doubles, do you think the throw outs will be PG and in-basket, and the doubles will be the opinion/management style questions?
I don't think a lot of the throwouts or doubles are going to come from the Patrol Guide portion of the test. I went to the protest and while I can say that the Patrol Guide questions were fukked up and tricky, most of them with exception of a few, weren't protestable. I think the majority of the rumored 14 doubles will come from the judgement portion because as we all remember, most of those questions had 2 answers.

If that's the case, I think it is more reason for the list being smaller than you would expect with 18 adjusted answers. I haven't met many people that bombed the judgment questions.
Stoptheinsanity "retired" from posting over at Examx but he has plenty of time to sign on over here, monitor this thread, and post crap like that. Just can't stay away, no matter how hard you try.
Actually I retired from Examx. If you can read you would know that. I actually know a little more than stickitinmyarse. I seem to annoy you. That's great. And since I am a Lieutenant who speaks to other Lieutenants who are not 5 or 10 year Sgts. I am posting facts. Lieutenants are not retiring. People will die on this list. You can re post this in 4 years. Take care.
you know what. in my command all three platoon commanders are over 20, ico over 20, admin just about 20 (and why would he leave), but if they keep up with all these stat meetings then maybe they can push more out and promote us grammer, math and judgement gurus just like they want.
STI since you are stating people will die on the new list how big is it going to be. And by the way I died on the 03 Sgt list so I know how it is to die on a list.
Well STI...I won't die on the list pal, no worries. I'll be wearing the same shirt as you in the not so distant future. And like I said....can't stay away! You love the adulation. It's comical.
You cant state that ppl will die on the list when we dont even know how big the list is yet u retard. The list could be only 300 names for all we know.

Wait, you only retired from that board? I guess I misunderstood your final gay post over there........ " I am sorry for the late post but 43 is the number for the 30th. I have been away. I want to wish all my fellow 2006 test takers the best of luck. Lieutenant is still a great rank. It sucks for all who will die on the list with good scores. I was reading some posts on Risingstar forums and it just re confirms why I am retiring from this board and why I dont post on that forum anymore.I am not crazy about the new breed and what the job has become. It has been a pleasure putting info out there for people who don't have as much info as I do on what's going on. I appreciate all the Thank you posts and positive feed back I have received. It's been a very long road with this test and so this is my final post. For those of you who pm me and I never answer I get a ton of them and can't answer them all. Thanks for the memories! lol. I just want to say please STOPTHEINSANITY!"
Those who frothing at the mouth about, dying and etc, are putting the carriage before the horse. We don't even know for sure when the list is coming out, how big due to the # of throwouts. Keep your wits together and take it one at a time.

I came off that list, and it was just over 600 after throwouts, sorry
