If those throwouts or double answer numbers are accurate, it might not matter that I was 1 of 150 who passed, many will surpass my score and there will be a large list to last several years. That would be like grading the exam on a curve. I will admit though, there were even more than that number of questions that were completely unfair though...

It won't. An improper question is an improper question.
Wow, even more stressed now. Did not screw up on the most of the questions they are saying are going to be thrown out. Someone with a 58 can easily jump to a 73. Someone with a 73 can end up with a 85. Crazy. This list is still way up in the air and is anyone's game.

Yup, passing the "proposed answer key" being 1 of 150 really might not guarantee promotion.
But keep in mind if you factor guestimates into probability, you should not realistically pick up more than 3-5 questions based on those numbers of throwouts/doubles depending on many variables. People thinking they are getting an automatic 10 spot must be confident in getting many questions to go their way flying in the face of probability.
You got 35-40 wrong, you are asking for a lot of luck in getting enough questions to go your way, but of course it is possible. High 60's, pretty good shot as per Captain Obvious.
Some people might get really lucky and despite failing on the proposed answer key can make it nearly to the top of the list
Really? If lets say you got exactly a 70 and are a junior Sgt that never am got fitness points, military, and doesn't have a rack of medals the size of his/her head and this list gets inflated to say 700 names and you don't pick up much on challenged questions, you could very easily not make it. I do not fall into that, I am near a 76 with no questions picked up, figuring what points I am already getting added off the bat.
You know that to be factual? First if you throwout or double one fifth of the test you will add several hundred to that list. Also with a poor job market outside this job, I am willing to bet more and more Lieutenants will not retire after 20 years the way they used to meaning less openings to promote Sgt's to. I just ended that sentence with a preposition which means I didn't use standard proper English and means I also don't deserve to get promoted...
They are not gonna put out a list that they are gonna have to cut and go through this lawsuit nonsense again. Oh and stanza you shut up! Or log off and dont read it.
All I am saying is anything is possible. The list is not even out yet and many people on here are assuming so many things that might not hold true. 18/19 throwouts/doubles could doom the people sitting in the low 70's that don't pickup much. So being one of the original 150 "passers" might not guarantee promotion which could be really messed up for some.
Look, I am hoping those who truly studied for a traditional exam and prepared the way everyone else has for the last few decades, picks up enough to get made. But if the 18/19 is true, that is tinkering with 1/5 of the test and will add several hundred names to the list of 150/241 or whatever it really is. For me, it might just mean delaying my promotion by months or years if I don't pick up many questions, for other it might mean they don't get promoted at all even though they "passed" on the proposed answer key.

Long live the 241. If there is even one more throwout or double I'm suing.

So then, I guess the rest of us who didn't take the Sabbath Observers exam like you did (after you got every last morsel of information regarding the exam's questions that was posted on this site to use to your advantage) should then sue as well?
Im not the rumoring spreading type but heard from a guy in INRU that its next week with 8-10 double/throwouts.... It was in a passing convo so not sure how reliable, but just figured i'd share...

someone at 1pp told me 18 double answers... i asked how many throwouts, to which he said...none... only 18 double answers.... that doesnt sound right to me...
I can share some similar info. It has come to my attention, that DCAS is feverishly trying to prevent future exams having so many questions challenged. As it was the case for our exam. This next part is my own insight; I think that the protest sessions brought a very high number of challenges. And out of these great number of protests, many were actually efficacious, so to speak. All those who protested did a good job, and have secured a high number of throwouts/double/triple answers. The rest of my post is information that came literally from an entity closely tied to dcas. As of this week, the list is set to be released within a 2-4 week duration of time. I am not saying the 9th of May (this is plausible). The number of questions being compromised for our sake are very much in line with what a lot of people have been saying (15-19). I have no more by way of specific questions, I did not want to pry. Since there has been so much misinfo or bad info on this forum, I cannot expect anyone of you to take this to heart, nor can I. I have no reason to doubt the source, therefore only Time Will Tell. Good Luck to all, including myself.

Wtf does efficacious mean. Is it bad???
LOL. Efficacious is not bad; well, at least not for us. Actually, Abeyance defined the word in his next sentence. Basically, in this case, it just means that many sgts were successful in bringing about the result that they strived for in completing the protest session- that many questions were thrown out/doubled, etc.
