What command would you like to go to as a boss... My first choice transit... Then irt... Patrol last...

My friend unless you wanna hit a brick wall during your carreer don't do transit. If you've been a active guy don't do transit. If u have a year or two to retire, then do transit. Other than that you will regret it.

Well I like it and transit as a boss you get pretty good ot
...unless it changed recently...

I don't have a hook or anything like that anyway so I'm pretty much gonna get dumped somewhere but it's nice to dream at least

Depends where u go in transit. Transit patrol in a district sucks but transit task force or impact/any other special unit as a sgt can be great

Ok dudes what ever. In my opinion transit sucks. during my  career there I've only worked in enforcement details; plain clothe the whole nine yards but at the end of the day is still transit. Yes is better than a district but i never thought transit in a whole is a good place to learn, or do police work. Hope u get it because I sure don't wanna go back to the hole. LOL good Luck brother is just an opinion everyone is different. If you worked there in the past most likely they won't send you back there. If you never worked there chances are when you get made thats exactly where you going. OT over rated i believe the whole job has the same amount of ot

LOL yea man you guys on this 2011 forum are pretty sick. So yes you probably are going to transit; is not really hard to go there anymore. As a boss good luck trying to find the many disgruntled transit cops in the whole, obviously phones don't work down there and # 1 excuse is......I was probably in a dead zone and my radio didn't work. LOL  dude stay topside.

Transit sucks as a cop, as a boss it's a lil better... But seriously you don't want trasnit as a boss... This ****ing place is slow as he'll no matter where you g or what you do, so all the ig wigs have all the time in the world to come up with some new b.s to do.. LIKE FOR EXAMPLE SWIPING YOU ****ING METROCARD EVERY TIME YU TAKE A BREATH. trust me stay where you are you will be better off.. I promise you
