Number sounds right but there had to be at least 1 throw out/ double answer, the test was far from perfect. And if ur gonna make a statement like that u gotta tell us where u heard it. There are too many trolls spreading false rumors and we need definitive proof!

How the hell can you know how long it will take for the list to be exhausted? It's not predetermined.... It moves along with the needs of the Dept.

Sounds like a believable number. But with no source listed and only 4 previous posts I wouldnt hold my breath. One thing I cant seem to understand is how were the sgts from the Lts exam able to come up with a passing number of 241 and no one here has any idea how many people passed our exam?

Word of advice...at this point if anyone is telling you what questions are being thrown out or how many are getting tossed , you can disregard thier bull**** info. The board established to review your protests has to be convened and then vote on what will get tossed. Until that happens, no one knows what is getting tossed. And 1083 is way too low. A normal list is 700-800. This was from all accounts one of the easiest promotional exams this job has ever given. I would guess the number is more like 1400-1700.

So this was the easiest test ever given by this department. Did you take this test ? No you didn't. So how the hell do you know this was the easiest test the job has given ? Like you said no one knows what is getting tossed so how would you think that 1700 people passed this test ? Word of advice...go back to the Lt. Forum and take your ignorant negative comments with you.

How do you know how many people passed this test ? Why would you make a statement like that and not back it up ? How do you know that there will not be throw outs ? DCAS probably doesn't even know that. The list will be exhausted in 3 years ? There is nothing believable about your post. Though the number could be close.

I'm glad to see this board is still alive at least.  But yeah, pure and utter BS even though the number is plausable

No problem squirt....you'll see for yourself. To quote the instructors from a promotional school during the Lt's cram...."don't let anyone tell you that test was hard. It was a joke, I can't believe they gave such agroundball exam." The proof will be in the pudding when the list comes out and it's twice as long as a normal list. But honestly....hard test, easy test...Wgaf??!! Wasn't the point of my post. I was simply pointing out that most of the info on this board is b.s. posted by 2 year wonders that don't know wtf they're talking about. Until the board convenes, no one knows what is getting tossed. Just trying to helpm, relax ladies.

Hahaha squirt ? If we met face to face I think the last thing you would call me would be squirt be a man don't hide behind the rank brother but anyway. I really don't care what they say as well, this test was just like the past exams. Some questions were the same, some were different, it had a groundball questions just like before. But you and HB and Wannabelt come to the Sgt Forum to belittle the hard work the cops and dets went thru to pass the exam. I know you guys took a hard Lt exam so in exchange you guys come here to tell us 2000+ passed the test STOP ALREADY its not helping your passing the same bad info your talking about. Pure speculating.  But thanks for trying to help boss.

There is nothing negative about this comment.  Merely not liking the information does not make it negative,

stupid. (<--negative)

This whole thing is a process. It's going to take alot of time and I know it's sucks. I really need out of the place I am so it just adds to the wait. Each day week month feels longer. Kind of missed those 6 months of studying. Felt like I was in control and focused on what I had to do, days went by quick. Now it's out of my hands.

TyWebb, for someone who likes to spend his/her time on the forum correcting the grammar of the posts on this forum which doesn't even matter. I figured your reading comprehension skills would be more on point. Plus your gonna call me names (stupid) ? I have never meet you, but I feel like I've know you for years. You're one of those people who think they are too smart for everyone but yet you come on this forum and have 15 posts and haven't made one (1) insightful contribution. I'm not gonna call you any names just think next time before you decide to add one of your meaningless posts.

I agree with you cry... hopefully the list be out march or april the latest. If they have a feb class that would be great.. With your score you should be in the first group second the latest.

A lot of guys who scored in the top 250  are going to be helped out because a lot that passed are only going to have 4 or a 4 and a half years when they start promoting from our list.  So if you were number 220 on the list you might actually be in the second class instread of the fourth or fifth.

Wow that's a really good point - this was the first test I could take and I'm hitting 5 years this week - I know a bunch of guys in classes right after me who also passed their first shot but won't have the time. That could make a big difference in the first 5-10 bmoc classes.
