Finest will come down on January 26,2012 with the remaining eligable cops from the 2009 list, and if need be they will promote a few from the 2011 exam.

2009 list will remain open because there are cops on it not yet eligable to get promoted smile

Hate to break it to you but everyone is eligible already, the 5 year wonders became eligible in January of 2011. I hope you're not trolling. Happy Holidays

There are some people that I know being held for investigation or some other nonsense out of their control. They will be promoted with 2011 people

I always thought the job is not under any obligation to keep the list for people who haven't been promoted for disciplinary reasons. If someone is getting passed over because of an open investigation, gets cleared (not guilty) 4 months from now, after the 09 list gets killed, would they get promoted or be completely SOL?

Yes they would get promoted, it has happened recently. Why should you be punished when it was determined you did nothing wrong. There are civil service laws in place

Yes, it was done with 07 & 08 and 08 & 09.

At phase 1 the Lt said there were 75 or 79 openings, I don't remember which one, but if they only took 54 for January that leaves around 20-25 spots open plus hopefully some retirements. If no February class to finish it then I'm going to say March the latest.

I don't see a reason why they wouldn't promote in febuary 2012. Hopefully the group going in tomorrow can get some info to atlease give us an idea.

Promotions on 27th.. Next bmoc is either February or march. They don't know, but latest will be march.

Yes they did... The people that didn't hand it in were removed and sent back to command. In addition a five day rip for failure to secure department issued paperwork. I would get a delegate stat!

They don't really harp on it too much. Just do it, if you lost it they have more and will give you another booklet. Remember, sometimes it takes longer to scam than to actually do the work! Lol

Yeah man!!! Any info on a Feb BMOC??? Read on Exam X thread that there should be a Lt class in Feb...if that class goes in plus the 20-25 openings that already exist...will that mean they'll need to put in a bmoc class? Brat any info?????

You would think with about 25 openings and 900 recruits hired that would be good enough to put in a BMOC class, this board is DEAD with info.

What kind of information are you looking for, there is 1 bmoc class left to close out the 2009 test. It will be in Feb or March, what other information would be beneficial at this point?

3 years is a long wait and some of us are in commands that we want out of asap but with my luck they'll wait till April/may to put another class in!!!! (unfortunately there's people on the LT's list longer than us who'll probably die on that list...that really sucks)

The instructors have said two days ago (we have not been in the academy the last two days) that they don't know for sure but they should know more next week. I would update if they gave us anything but they haven't said anything since the first day which was "It looks like there will be a February or March class but we don't know yet". We will only be with the SLC instructors on Monday next week (there is a lot of time spent outside of the SLC classes and also the academy itself) so unless they tell us anything then we won't be able to find out for the rest of the week.

Agreed NewUser, it's not sounding good for Feb. Don't have a good feeling for a Feb bmoc. Hopefully Brat will have some good news next week....
