I mentioned both these questions in another thread. I don't know if I got these wrong, but I think they are worth protesting if anyone got them wrong. I'm not getting long winded here so I will give you the nuts and bolts. The question in which the lt overheard a conversation in the women's locker room about anOther female officer being sexually harassed. Not one of the answers gave you the option of notifying OEEO. Pg states, as a supervisor, you MUST notify OEEO when becoming aware of such an incident. The other question about the stolen toilet paper, us being the female officer knowing the other female officer was stealing the tp. Not one option was to notify IAB. Unless I'm retarded(which I am) this sounds like misconduct at the very least, which MUST be reported to IAB. Once again, violating pg procedure 207 Whatever it is. If I'm grasping at straws let me know so I won't waste my time, otherwise PROTEST!!!!!!!!

The issue with your assessment of the OEEO question is that I remember it stating that the females didn't know if the sexual harassment was occuring at work or in her personal life. Technically there's no need to notify OEEO if someone is being harassed outside the work place. In other words, if a member of the service is being sexually harassed at his/her authorized off duty employment are we responsible for notifying the department if there's no connection?
My memory isn't great so I don't remember the particulars of the question, but if that's the case then you're right. But there is no way around the toilet paper question, if you are aware of misconduct, you must report it to IAB.

The toilet paper question is an interesting one and it will come down to how they define misconduct. Technically she was stealing the toilet paper to replenish the female restroom and not for her own personal use. Not sure what question # it was or what DCAS determined was the "correct" answer choice but If I got it wrong I'm certainly protesting it.

You only have report EEO when there is a allegation or something took place not some hearsay or rumors.
What basis are they basing their answers ? Where is proven that it's correct ? We're supervisors so we can't be playing with opinions. We need to work off of factual documents and if they used a book they're going to lose and if they didn't they're going to lose because these things have to be proven.
There are plenty of reasons as to why the chicken crossed the road but why is your reason better than mine ? You have to show me. You can't just say because I said so on a supervisors exam.
@8-32 sgt, IDK, but they obviously wanted us to think like it was misconduct. Someone was complaining to you that the delivery was short again. I think that they wanted us to think that it was a problem.
regardless of what the answer is, no where in the notice of exam did they make a reference to where this material was coming from. Protest every judgement question you got wrong citing the lack of a source for these questions.

The "Key" posted a strategy with reference cited on November 2nd for debating these subjective questions. I think it's stated pretty well and should assist in combating these judgement questions. All we need is someone to photocopy the pages they quoted from and allow anyone at the protest to submit it with the questions their challenging.
the toilet paper question : the information that u have was received 3rd party u have no idea what the po was going to do with it. all u know is that another po said that a po has taking it and keeping it in her locker for use in the bathroom. the job does not want u to investigate they want u to report it (missing toilet paper) to iab and let them investigate it is not your job to find out what she is doing with it thats iabs
But what if I went to my private doctor and he gave me a note for the Lieutenant stating I had a bowel problem which made me go to the bathroom more often? Then I can prove I needed that extra toilet paper not making it any misconduct at all! Then I can have the note put in my personnel folder! LOL! Just Kidding! It's worth protesting. The only problem is you weren't suppossed to fall back on the patrol guide. Otherwise it would have been a choice. A Judgement question is what it was. Hey, protest every question! We need all the points we can get!

You are indeed grasping at straws.
In the first example you did not have confirmation of an OEEO, only the mere possibility of one. The correct choice gave you the chance to remedy the situation without transmitting the impression to your underlings that you were monitoring their private conversations.
In the second question you cite, there was no definitive behavior requiring corruption reporting. The goal was to choose the path to swift resolution based on the available information.
Neither of these questions were particularly difficult, or remotely protestable. As per your own admission, you can barely remember the language employed in each.
The mantra of protesting "whatever I got wrong" is foolish. Three or four well researched protests are far more effective than a haphazard splattering of specious arguments.
Assigning credibility to the posters here that are convinced they have legitimate protests to most of the judgment questions is not a wise choice- they prefer to see the crescent moon.
I'm not sure if putting toilet paper in your locker constitutes stealing. Technically, it was never removed from the facility. Kinda like a supermarket where the person has items in their coat pocket, but they are not stealing until they pass the check out?

Well written post. I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately if certain individuals disagree with your point of view, your posts will be deleted and you will be banned.

Normally yes, but in this case a lot of people sacrificed 6 months of their life only to fail a test that many viewed as inherently flawed. The purpose of this forum should be to share information and help each other out. It should not be a place for one guy with several screen names (and an apparent mediocre ability to insert pictures into his posts) to attempt to belittle other Sergeants.
