does anyone recall that rdo court question???? ground ball or was that a trick too?
at this point, those sadistic bastards could have done anything, but obv. answer was Ops Coord.
The asnwer was Ops Coordinator bc it was the only only one that fit. But if you read carefully in the book it never uses the word "reschedule", the CO can call to reschedule, the OC calls "to determine the necessity of the appearance". The CO was not a choice, so OC was the only actor that fit, but if they are going to be petty and cheap, they should at least know what the book really says!!!!
Thanks for the breakdown. What about the graffiti question ? What was the answer ?
I am pissed, I dropped that one and cannot protest it bc it was actually well written and straightforward, but extremely petty and cheap. The answer was the cop sends out the pix in the mail.
I chose the SOL ensures the cop makes a Telephone Record entry confirming the ADA received the pix by calling her. In the book the SOL only ensures that the cop makes a TR entry when he emails the pix and the book in that section actually calls it by the name we all refer to it as, "Telephone Message Log"
fire question sec a at fire which is good a- p/van no pris (no good) b-61 (only if susp ???) c- activitly log entry d-red cross lady go to her home chose d anyone agree/disagree???

I guess. But that whole part of the procedure is IF DIGITAL CAMERA IS AVAILABLE. The 1st half deals with Polaroids. Was there an ALWAYS in there with the e-mail?
If I remember correctly the mos arrested question came down to choosing the bad answer which was copy of 49 to EMD in dept mail-no good. It gets faxed Immediately

Thats correct.
One of the few that jumped off the page at me. I was busy dropping procedures I knew like the back of my hand.....like deciding to skip weekends for Ecb return dates
I thought the correct answer was enter the internal affairs log number in the details section of the DIR because that was one of the choices and that is an interim order. Maybe I read it wrong and there was some kind of trick there. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I believe that was choice A
I think that was a diff question. I had a debate with someone at work on this. The guide in one section says iab log# goes in pct ser# box on dir but in another section also says details of dir

I belive the PG says IAB log # in details on both a 61 and a DIR. The log # goes in the "pct serial #" caption on the DIR Log.
And while I aggree with evryone, this is minuta and doesn't make you a good manager, tell me what to read and I will study that instead and become a "good manager" in the eyes of the dept. But to be ****y for a second, feel free to ask anyone who worked for me. Even though I memorized the patrol guide and passed a test on it and failed the judgement questions, I'm sure they'd aggree I am fairly competent and they enjoyed working for me.

The answer choices were IAB log # on DIR or IAB log # on 61 and it was asking for the incorrect answer which was Mail EMD a copy of 49. If you read 208-37 it states to put the IAB log # on both the DIR and 61.
Cop involved in domestic argument with his wife we had to choose wrong answer choice it was an except question The answer was 49 to CO of EMD. Why? Because only if umos suspended then and only then u bang out an additional 49 for co EMD. It didn't say In the story that he got collared or suspended. All other choices were correct and no IF applied to them
Yes you are correct. I actually went with the choice that said the iab COMMAND LOG number because I did not remember seeing "COMMAND LOG NUMBER" and technically its no where in the guide. Log number and COMMAND LOG number are 2 different things.
Well, it might be a stretch but they had the DO doing a 49 for that incident, I know in that procedure it tells you that is correct, but once again there are other procedures in the book telling you the CO/DC would do a 49 there, not the DO. They intentionally put a conflicting procedure into a question? Or am I giving them too much credit and they are just retarded...
They were looking for dept mail to emd as the wrong answer. If these other errors were in the question (which i didn't even catch b/c i was pressed for time) then by all means PROTEST PROTEST PROTEST
I picked that IAB command Log choice because I know that that particular phrase is not in the guide and being that they were trying to trick you the whole test I picked that choice.
I meant to say they were looking for the incorrect answer, the choices were (1) duty captain, (2 and 3)iab # in dir and 61, and (3) send 49 to emd via department mail. Don't remember the order of the answer choices or if it mention Iab command log cause the emd answer choice jumped out for me.
graffiti question..................looking for wrong answer..........anyone recall???
From the two answer choices I remember, which were have photos forwarded to the citywide vandals taskforce for complaints and arrest only and search the database for all arrests, I believe they were searching for the incorrect choice or testing the duties of the SOL.
Everyone stop driving yourselves nuts, you guys are so mixed up, it's impossible to remember if a question asked for the incorrect or correct choice, and you guys also are struggling to remember the exact wording of these questions and answers...its only going to get worse as we get further displaced from the actual test date. Just play the waiting game and save the debates for protest day.
ok.........they were looking for incorrect.........but numerous people saying diff. answers......can anyone confirm i chose the answer with the lt confirming emails in the t/r did not sound good to me
THE HAZMAT QUESTION WAS DEFINITELY A DOUBLE ANSWER...ESTABLISH A COMMAND POST...AS WELL AS NOTIFY COMMUNICATIONS TO NOTIFY OPERATIONS TO DISPATCH THE BOMB SQUAD. IT NEVER ASKED WHAT YOU YOU DO FIRST..IT SIMPLY ASKED CHOOSE THE CORRECT ANSWER.
The answer to the ID theft question was Identity theft in the 102 precinct. I looked at the big chart behind the desk.... IF a credit card is opened by identity theft, and sent OUTSIDE the city, which it was to Michigan, and the charges were made over the PHONE OR INTERNET, which they were in the 81 precinct, and the value is under 1000, it is classified as Identity theft in the precinct the victim resides, which was the 102. I got it wrong, i chose ID theft in the Brooklyn place where the charges were made, ****ing bull****
As for the Graffiti question, I got that wrong because I chose "umos will forward a 61 by the next business day" I honestly just thought that the command clerk always forwards them because I think in 207-05 it has a list of all the times the command clerk forwards 61's to units, just was pressed for time and rushed through that one. That procedure has the CC forwarding 61's of graffiti to citywide vandals.
The hazmat one, IF I remember, the legality of the shipment was questioned. Obviously the HWY MCSU would have to determine what it is, why would you call the bomb squad if it didnt say it was a bomb?
I just felt with the question, establish a command post was the MOST correct and the SGT always establishes one.

That's incorrect. The charge depends on the value of items purchased.
Go read the big sign, It is clear as day, credit card outside nyc, charges inside nyc by phone/internet 1000 and under = ID theft. pct where victim resides
There is times it is petit larceny, and it lists several, but the question was specific, and so is that ID theft board.
190.78 Identity theft in the third degree. A person is guilty of identity theft in the third degree when he or she knowingly and with intent to defraud assumes the identity of another person by presenting himself or herself as that other person, or by acting as that other person or by using personal identifying information of that other person, and thereby: 1. obtains goods, money, property or services or uses credit in the name of such other person or causes financial loss to such person or to another person or persons; or 2. commits a class A misdemeanor or higher level crime.
The felony ID theft (2nd degree) is when you do this over $500 in value, the question stated I believe $450 of total value
