Hate to add fuel to the flames of this rumor but a simple check to buddies at IAB have yielded a brewing investigation regarding the claims of rampant cheating at the latest Sgt Exam. Supposedly a few people were caught cheating and these people in turn have ratted out fellow cheaters. Investigations are proceeding full steam ahead but at this juncture no one is stating whether this exam will be thrown out. The guys at IAB want to see if this was an isolated event or if it was a citywide thing. What indeed is being said is that this investigation will inevitably delay the posting of the official list.
Let us pray that this thing gets resolved as soon as possible.

Thanks for the information, Paraderest but this is not he last or the first exam to be investigated for cheating. If indeed there are delays then so be it. I am sure I am not the only person prepared for such outcomes. If the test is indeed canceled then I will persevere and carry on. One can not dwell on the negative things in life for they might consume you.. I will take my lemons and make lemonade by studying harder for the October 2012 exam. I hope their investigation yields nothing and the list of this exam is allowed to run its course.
No problem, 62andOut. While I am waiting i will spruce up my knowledge via the patrol guide and prepare for a possible 2012 test just in case. It is the prudent thing to do.
I just called DCAS. They said the exam is not under investigation and it will not be thrown out. These loser trolls who failed the test for the 6th time just love to spread bull$hit. They need to get a life
I guess you didn't read my post where I told you my neighbor works for dcas and spoke to someone who is in the testing dept. They are not admitting to anything. They are trying to avoid getting a million phone calls from pains in the asses like you. Cool your pits and let the investigation take it's course. What's done is done. The test is out of our hands now.
Some people sure do have a lot of time on their hands. If 9000 people are taking a test a few are going to cheat. Some will get caught and some won't. I'm not sure why this is such a shock to anyone. Also, since when does an investigation = in limbo?? Of coarse IAB will question and go through the motions of investigating the morons who got caught.

I have been following this forum since the test and when i think about how much time u put into making all these different usernames and posting and replying to yourself ( lol ) if u read the pg that much maybe u would had a chance of passing..... Well all i can say enjoy it loser untill the list comes out then you have another year of looking foward to talking to yourself on this forum.... Because as usuall u r not going to study again instead u r just going to hope that they kill the exam thus u dont have to wait a whole year before you can mark your scantron c..c...c...c...c......c.....cc

There is no such thing as "limbo". This exam is either being investigated or not and as we all know it is. I think we should all hold on to our studying material for a possible 2012 exam.
