Hey "Brat",

Not looking to start any trouble here....however, just curious as to what your qualifications are to give out all the information and "advice" that you do? This is an open forum that we can all use to help each other and we are appreciative of those who do that. Just seems that you are a self-proclaimed expert in the field of NYPD promotional testing. Can you back any of that up??? Just wanna make sure you're not making it up as you go along, like most here do. Care to share how many times you had to take each test to get promoted, and to what rank, and what list #'s ???? Just asking - some of your advice over the years has been slightly flawed in my humble opinion. JUST ASKING......... nonono

I find it interesting that you have someone here who actually gives a damn about getting you guys some valid information (all of which has been correct).  Someone who actually gives a damn about how you study, someone who helps get you access to study material (free of charge I might add)..........and you call me out ike you have  (ON ALL THREADS).........don't listen to me if you dont want to, no one has to listen to me.  I put it all out there to help.  Maybe I shouldn't have.

PS: i dont owe you an explanation or a resume.

Brat, most of us I am sure appreciate all the advice you have given to us and all the knowledge you have and "rumors" you say, most of them have been right on. Thank you so much and keep helping us out any way you can

I personally invested a lot of time and money into preparing for this exam based on Brats word and she has been spot on. For that I am grateful. I'm not there yet but I should be there in the next group and even if she were to be wrong I know She had good intentions. So thx Brat.

I find it interesting that she hides behind a screen name and still refuses to discuss her list #'s or how many times she had to take the exam to even get to sergeant. The information she is giving out needs to be qualified by her expertise (which she NOT have). I also find it hard to believe that someone in her position would unethically compromise that position......you should only know the real story. If you're not willing to come clean "Brat" and honestly present yourself, then we can all consider this thread officially closed. I'm now done....thank you for letting me vent and express my 1st Amendment right.

I dont blame Brat for not giving her list #s that would expose who she is. She has been very helpful through this process. I am going to be completly blunt here, I usually have a bad taste in my mouth about people who work inside. Being on the streets my entire career have been involved in numerous shootings, having done Anti Crime style work my whole career, I generally found inside people to be one way and about themselves. My assumption is Brat works at 1PP of some other place, however I have never encountered someone that worked inside that cared about Cops and is as helpful as her. This will be the first Sgt test I have taken in my career, so its the first time Ive been on this board. Her info has been helpful and at times encouraging. With that said she has no need to give her info out. On that note JCA what gives you the right to questions her? What have you done in your career that makes you so special? I am not "coming at you" just asking. Cause if we played the game Im sure there are Cops with alot of different career backgrounds on here.......all with one thing in common, wanting to get promoted.
