I heard from i repeat a non reliable source 10-15 passovers will receive telephone message notification, upfront promotion and then 30 day assignment in 1pp. I repeat not confirmed

Dont know if my info is true or he's just busting chops...There is supposed to be a telephone message coming down for 6 people to Bmoc...WTF? Can they have a 6 person BMOC? LOL

Why is the information about the next class so cloudy? I don't get it. We have known whether a class is going or not since the beginning. My money is on a December class.

So if there isn't a class going in this month, Im sure one will go in for December. So i guess the tentative dates would be Monday, November 28th or Monday December 5th. I personally think it will be the 28th. If the class goes in on the 28th, Promotions will be prior to Xmas.

That does fit with what the LT told us last week in BMOC. He said no Nov class and only a small handful of backfill promotions upfront with us. I really hope it works out for you guys...

I would say if it didn't come down last night I wouldn't think it would be coming down at all, because then whoever is notified would hardly have time to get their uniform inspected and buy whatever they need to buy, but this IS is the NYPD we're talking about so it's entirely possible for a notification to come down today or tomorrow

Lt just came in again and said no November class, and only about 5 upfront promotions. Those 5 will be assigned to EMD til the next BMOC

Wow.... So much for a happy ending. I hope that putting these guys in means a November class. They would be assigned to EMD for 11 weeks if there is no November class; which is unlikely. Bmoc is 4 weeks plus one week field...November is 4 weeks and this week will make them assigned there for 11 weeks.
