Just curious...If im not mistaken, most pass-overs know there status prior to the finest. Is that safe to say? or do they actually surprise you and pass you over.

 

The reason im asking is because there are 35 passovers that don't seem to be moving.  a little high in my opinion.

Naa, its because there are already 8 pages of stuff said. What else can possibly be talked about? We know there might or might not be a class. We know that an average of 6 people get passed over per 80. We know that the list has less than 150 people left. We know that they might promote upfront. We know that they are trying to finish up this list.

Only thing we can do is talk about a possible class in a week and a half.

I like a good ole definite rumor like that!!! Now, let the questioning of its validity begin.

Guy just spoke to Lt from BMOC, he said some will get promoted up front, may be as few as 10, but probably no November BMOC, upfront promotees will be assigned to EMD for month until next class

Ok guys, so I registered for the Lt test back in June and today I received the admission notice for the 29th. Does that means they will promote me up front or that unlike the Sgt test anyone that registered will be able to take the Lt test? Brat, anyone? I'm about 35-45 ppl away on the list.

Bomber, a post without busting balls?!!!!! You disappointed me bro lol...thx for your input. I guess I will sit for the test, but I stopped studying about two weeks ago. An up front promotion would be a nice surprise though.

Like i said 6 months ago...The list will be completed before the recruit class hits the street. They should be out By mid January 2nd or January 9th.

No, not at all. It depends on how many people are on the 2011 list and how fast they move through it. If they start burning through it like the 2009 list I wouldn't doubt that there would be another test in a year or two at the most. They will always want a list to promote from.
