Generally its for CCRBs.....that why you see alot of active guys on some type of monitoring. Level 1 means you got 3 CCRBs in a year. Dont even worry about it, thats BS. Level 2 is a little more damaging...You have to go see Inspector Jones, who is no fan of the PO-LICE. But it is what it is. Many people have got promoted on monitoring. The bosses with common sense know its all BS. Just Make sure you have the collars to back it up

give me some more level 2 monitoring info--you sound like a heavy hitter-is it true i definitely have to see the all mighty 3 star board to get promoted?

Level 2 just means you got 5 CCRBS in 2 years. If you are a crime/sneu guy in a busy command that is very likely to happen. Ive never heard of anyone NOT getting promoted for level 2 inregards to CCRBS. Remember you can be put on Level 2 or any level for that matter for performance as well. They will know why your on it. On a side note, make sure you keep up with your CCRBS....the ones that are exonerated and/or not founded DO NOT COUNT AGAINST YOU!!!! But they take you off with you initiating it. Also level 2 is for 18 months.

good aDVICE-what if i'm on level 2 , and i'm about to get promoted-do i get promoted as a sgt., and i'm on level 2 at the same time-sounds nasty- what about this 3 chief board i hear about!!

Just cause your on level 2 doesnt mean you wont get promoted. Remember you can be on Level 2 for diff reasons. CCRBS the job knows is BS!! Bad evals or performance that can be an issue. Ive never heard of a Crime guy or any active Cop go in fron of the Chiefs and have a problem. They know why your in there. So break out the medals and put your Dress Uniform on LOL.
People will tell you cant get transfered or promoted while on Level 2......They are wrong........I got transfered to OCCB while on Level 2 and got promoted to Detective while on Level 2

Dirty ... That board is for people that have charges.... U will have to go see inspector jones once or twice and as long as u answer right u won't get passed over... No worries been there done that
