Week 1 was mailed Tuesday, 4/26; it usually takes 1-2 days to arrive. We use our questions as the foundation for teaching you the material (there are 68 questions from 202) so make sure you read the questions carefully and not just rush through them.

Finest message just came down for sgt's exam have it in my hands as I type. Scheduled for October 15th. Filing period June 8th to June 28th.

You should have gotten it by now; they all went out on Tuesday. Email me your name and address to reconfirm that all the info is correct and we'll sent it out again. Our email address is info@risingstarpromotion.com

Also, if you ordered the material after 2100 hrs on Monday, it did not make it in time for Tuesday's mailing; in this case, we will mail out weeks 1 and 2 this Tuesday.

Does anyone know who runs Rising Star Promotions (In terms of rank and qualifications)? Can anyone tell me how good the material really is? The reason I ask is that I might get lucky enough to make the Lt's test however I would need a big delay for that to happen and I don't want to go to classes for no reason so I decided to study at home instead and I'm considering Rising Star.

I know one of the guys is a Capt that runs rising star. They have the best questions in the game. There questions really pay off on test day. I'm taking the key and using them.

I actually know him. DCAS really tried to screw him over for nonsense. He stuck to his guns though and beat them. Good for him. He's a good guy and is really into this stuff. More power to him!

Who gives a rats ass if he's a "douche" or a "super buff"....I'm not looking to marry the guy, I just need good stuff to study from and so far, they have delivered. lol

As I said, I know this guy. Not well enough to say I'm friends with him, but have worked in a few of his commands under him. He is absolutely a total douche to those who don't belong on this job (and they know who they are). For those who are "blue at heart" and make an effort, he is a straight shooter and you know where he is coming from because he is up front about his style. That being said, if you're a worker, you'll love him and he has your back - a real buff and goes out of his way to help guys who work for him. BUT, If you're a do-nothing empty suit, he has no problem telling you that, and will crush you instantly after fairly warning several times to shape up. I personally respect that type of leadership style on this job.

Anyway, I agree with FOP.....who gives a crap? The Rising Star material is top-notch. If that's because the guy(s) who run it are in "anal backlog", then good for them.....keep sending my material please, I need to get promoted! LOL

He can't be that big of a stickler for minutia: in weeks 2 packet under 203-10 it says can not partake in games of change instead of chance, then a few pages later it under 203-15 it states off duty members attending a parade or funeral must chance (instead of change) into civilian clothes after its over. I am just breaking chops of course, the material is actually really good, I really like the questions. I just thought that was funny. Shout out to 15 year wonder boy, swhangy, and JimmyMc and his wonder skirt. Hope in 2 years we are in Lieut leadership course dominating crossword puzzles without the douchey next to us telling us to SSSHHH! aaahhh BMOC.... I got some of my best sleeping done there. How I miss weekends off.
