How many years in rank do you need as a Sgt to be promoted to LT? Last I checked it was 3 years as a Sgt before eligible for LT, but some people have insisted that it is 2. Does anyone know for sure?
you know i just went through bmoc and i asked the LT there the same question and he told me three years ... DCAS' thing is jumbled it says you have to finish probation and have two years in rank ... what does that mean exactly i have no idea.. the same people probably wrote the PG.. i hear mixed things from people
Sorry for the same ol' repeated question...if I am on the sgt. list for promotion will I be able to take the lt. exam? I only ask cause this test is given only once every 3 years and I am not sure if mid-500 sgt list is gonna make it in time....thoughts, ideas?
for mid 500's i doubt your gonna get made by the the time the test comes ... if they do every other month theres really only gonna be three classes of people that can take it and they are only at 220 or something...
Off topic... Which unit do i call to find out about how many epd's and mpd's I have? Trying to find out how many extra points I have... I heard I call the ceremonial unit... Anyone know for sure..
